I have used a little bit of oil from a pen I got from somewhere that is filled with oil. I put a little on the rubber part on the inside of the socket and it pulls right off the plug.

But there are much better tools you can buy. My way is just a easier way for me

I finally got my injectors in. Instead of getting 780cc modified oem injectors, they sent me deatschwerks 550cc injectors. I hope these are fine.

Same set up I was send and I am running now. You just need to let Vit know a little ahead of time and send him the map that is already on the flash pro so he can tweak it so your car will start up after the install. Because the map that is on the flash pro is for the other injectors but the ones you have are much better quality.

My car started right up and Vit got it running good enough for me to make the trip to his shop to do a dyno tune. I could probably send you my tune and it would be close to being done lol

Yeah, it's really annoying. It came with my 52 piece craftman set. It's a spark plug remover, but it still sucks. Probably the tools used to forge my particular remover is worn down and doesn't have enough material where it's supposed to lock into place, thus creating a loose(er) fit than should be... My guess at least.

Damn really? How do you know they are the deatschwerks 550cc??

Mine came in a standalone bag, and they looked exactly like OEM, so I didn't even think twice.

Finally, if your downsizing your pulley later and getting the aftercooler, you're def gunna need the higher flowing injectors. My duty cycle is at like 85% ~7500rpm. It's nearly maxed out. That's kinda BS that the kit comes with 780cc injectors and that's not what you got. That's not acceptable to me! Plus the warranty card issue, and no stickers... man someone has been falling down on the job.

Yeah dude. I'm trying to really keep myself together. I'm going through Marcus because I bought it through him. The description on his site says one thing and I'm getting another. It's pissing me off. I let the 3.8 pulley slide but now it's the damn injectors. And on top of that ct-e is slacking big time.
Starting to regret the purchase.

Trust me, I've had terrible experiences with online shopping of car parts too. It's never a good feeling. At this stage they should at least send you the missing items, and pay for any shipping labels you might need with no questions asked.

Yes mine came in a box saying deatschwerks 550cc. But they called me and asked what ones I would rather have and they did not just send me whatever. I went with them because I was told I would get a much better spray from them then I would get out of the modified OEM injectors.

One more thing you might want to bring up is that you will have to cut the stock injector plugs to get them to work with the deatschwerks 550cc. Unless you had the plug and play harnesses that can be bought.

I just cut mine and it was a pain in the ass to do it. I should have got the harnesses !

Oh an it took almost 3 months to get my kit.

Uhgggg that makes me mad for you man! Marcus is a good supplier though, just express to him that you trusted him with all this and now it's time for him to step up to the plate and get you what you need. I would not accept cutting an oem harness.

Yeah you had the modified OEM injectors so it was just plug stock harness into them. The ones we got the do sell plug and play harnesses that plug into the stock ones and then into the injectors but they are like $40 more. I noticed them when I was on Vits site looking at the same injectors but bigger ones and that was a extra add on when I was checking out.

Sucks that Marcus is the middle man for this kit. He contacts C/T and they make the kit and ship it to the buyer. Not sure why he was not contacted about getting different injectors like I was. But like I said he will need a base map from Vit just to get it started now.

Murcus is a good vendor and a good guy, I meet him in person so he should make it right ! But I would still be pissed about the hole deal and how it has been handled so far !

Kevin are you on facebook? I don't mind tagging Marcus in a post to get a fire under his butt. He should really be helping you out. He actually got semi-mad (maybe more irritated) that I didn't go through him to solve out my aftercooler issue. I just talked to Jose from Merc racing directly, and Marcus said that I should have gone through him(Marcus) because he was the supplier and that was his job to sort things out...

Yeah I was to deep into my install to stop so I did what I had to do to finish it in one night.

Look into getting the plug and play harnesses for them if you don't mind spending the money to get them.

I can always hook the stock ones back up but yeah the wires will always be cut and put back together in someway now.

Probably part of the reason why they pretty much went bankrupt as Comptech, and got bought and semi-rebranded with CT-E.

Slightly different name with no real difference.

I had a shitty experience with Hondata, and I bought the FlashPro through Marcus. He helped me 100% along the way to getting the issue resolved, even though for some reason the situation made it seem like I was trying to scam Hondata of the correct FP unit (lol?). Get Marcus involved like Joe said. He should be helping you out. A lot of heeltoeauto's rep is dependent on their customer service, it's their motto and you can find that on their site. Use that to your advantage! You shouldn't be the one getting stressed out trying to contact CTE.

Ive been sending marcus emails all about this and he is helping me out. Im just venting here so forgive my outbursts. This isnt my first rodeo boosting a car. The only difference this time is that im depending on other people. My last build I sourced every part out myself and dealt directly with people that actually had the right parts in stock.

I have to vent here (again) cuz I've had my car ready for vits base map for the past 4 days. I emailed vit on Friday that I'm ready and just found out that he doesn't send out calibrations late Thursday through Sunday.
I just want to turn my car on! It's eating me up. I can't even find a basemap online. I really hope he sends me my first calibration on Monday.
I'm dying over here.

Yeah really dude. I've been ready for quite some time and having the car out of commission for a week sucks. I had to scoure the internet just to find out he's unavailable during late Thursday through Sunday. Which is Understandable cuz we all have lives to live but if I only know about that, I would of emailed him last Monday in order to be ready with a calibration. Vit doesn't state on his site about this. I'm not blaming vit at all. I just wish I had that info before I waited for Friday to request a basemap. And by the way, sending a file over email is pretty much instant so it's nothing like "ordering something on Friday and expecting it over the weekend."

I think you should blame CTE for not sending you the right injectors.. otherwise you could have just used the base tune from them.

Or it seems like curtdragon has the same injectors, why not ask him for a basemap?

I don't want to put blame on anyone. I just haven't had much luck since the beginning with this whole mess. There were delays everywhere but with lagitament reasons.
I'm just going to have to wait for my first calibration.

From my experience from just doing this is, I sent home the base map that came with the flash pro with the different injectors about two weeks before so he could tweak it so I could start my car after the install.

My car started right up but was not running very well with it. I sent 3 different data logs and he was able to get my car running well enough for me to drive it until I got down to his shop.

So it's going to take a few tries to get your car dialed in and if you would have gave him a heads up about sending him the map so he could send it back to at least get your car started and set something up for a weekend data log to get it running better then he would have worked with you on the weekend. Just have to give him a heads up so he can plan accordingly.

But I feel your pain man and it will get work out Monday for sure. When I was down there at his shop he was getting emails left and right with people needing stuff or asking questions.

Good luck and take some pics man I want to see

Don't be discouraged. It was just misinformation that was on heeltoes discription of the supercharger and I believe he made the corrections. Just know that when you order the kit, it will come with deatschwerks 550cc injectors (great brand) and a 3.8 pulley (you can request the 3.6). Besides that, ct-e is a small company that makes high quality stuff that puts them in high demand so expect to wait a couple of months for the kit. Marcus at heeltoe has been very helpful and followed through with all my issues.

I paid for priority and did 3 cals tonight with a 4th waiting for me.
I do have a hard start though. Takes a good 2-3 seconds for the motor to catch on. Got to datalog cranking and send it to vit.
