Yes of course haha, there was no other option for me haha. The only complaint (and really I should be complaining to my own company) is that touring is not offered on M/T. I mean.. I get it.. but still wish I had the option. I love the touring headlights. This Accord will be pretty fun, I think it'll keep me happy for the time being.

lol I know the guy who got feature for his rotrex supercharged TL, its a monster. Such a cool build. This car will probably only get color matching bulbs for the headlights, and that's probably it haha

Preparation for selling... I can't believe this grille has been sitting in my closet for 4 years haha. I guess I imagined I would always install it once I bought a sports bumper. I think it's a nice clean look though. I hope someone will appreciate it.

So how'd you go from wanting an STi to buying an accord?

1 year lease on the accord, and I will use the down-payment from the TSX on a the civic type R (if the price is right... if it's over 35k I can't really afford it), but if the price isn't right, or the it's really difficult to find, I will settle for a used STi instead. So that's the plan.

Wait until SSJoe figures out she very deviously conceded the dog-shit battle but won the car war.

SSJoe was so happy about that one: "Yay, I get to keep making storing giant quantities of shit in the yard. @wife"

@wife: "Yup. You win. Have fun with your shit. Oh, about that car you wanted? I need you to get us a <looks up most vanilla car ever made, ah, Camry or Accord> new Accord (corporate-whore discount means more purses to keep SSJoe's balls in )"

*End Scene*

lmao The accord is cool though! I mean, it's no racecar.. but for a daily it's kinda fun. She has won the plant battle though.. I was stupid to think we could keep the landscaping under $1000 lol

I'm just busting your nuts.

That Accord will be a great little car. Better than anything in the Acura lineup! Not that you'll need it much once you get on 2 wheels.

I did a trade.. I didn't get a great deal (as expected), but wasn't bad for what I saved on taxes. + I got my Type-R in the color I wanted and MSRP :P

Probably a bunch of LED crap on the underside, and a bigger spoiler. Maybe three fartcan exhaust tips.

No plans yet as far as performance, Ill do small stuff here and there. Ill keep it moderate for the 3 year warranty period. Still the only tuning solutions are $4500 for motec system, or $1000 for hondata + sending ECU for re-flashing. I'll have to get a winter setup as this will be my daily, but other than that, I think it will be slow modding haha.

Just get a winter beater car. You could drop a little coin on a set of winter wheels and tires if you like, but I'd keep that R off the streets in these horrid Ohio winters. I just drive my old EP3 in the winter.

I did this with my TSX.. and honestly it was a PIA having to scrape ice/snow every morning. If I had a three car garage I would probably get a cheap beater, or even lease a Fit from work for super cheap, but I just dont want to deal with it anymore.I bought the Type-R to drive it. Yeah the ice and salt will take a toll on the paint, but I will also take preventative measure to keep it as nice as possible.I just wanna drive

Ceramic coating will help reduce any paint damages you are afraid of.

I can dig it. Same situation here, my EP3 sits outside in NWOH. When you are ready to get a whee/tire package for the winter, hit me up. I run a tire shop in Toledo. Depending on what wheels/tires you want, I may be able to make it worth the drive.

Oh cool man, I get a discount through tire rack but Ill def shoot you a message when the time comes. Wouldn't be my first time traveling a little ways to get a good deal on wheels. My VMRs (still for sale) on my TSX, I went all the way out to my buddies shop in Piqua! But worth it knowing my new wheels were not gunna get messed up during the tire mounting like some nightmare stories I have heard.
