OFFICIAL Hondata Flashpro Calibration/Tuning Thread

Ill try and let you know but my car is not drivable atm. belt and alternator are off.
I ran optimus' MT cal for a long time though no issues.
btw, even tho Hondata claims AT and MT maps are interchangeable, I'd probably agree with Vit and simply assume they're not. There are some settings in the calibration that are gear specific, like Overrun fuel cut delay, which has timing per gear for example. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other things that are gear number dependent or are tailored towards MT/AT trannies.

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
Ported Dime Feng's map and flashed it onto my car. It worked! Difference is like night and day, and for Joe, rev hang does exist before flashing. It's so apparent after you're coming from stock.
Some other things I've noticed with Dime Feng's calibration on my car:
- car wants to gear up a bit later even on light throttle (with about the same pedal %, it wants about 3k rpm vs. maybe 2.5k rpm from 1st to 2nd, possibly 2nd to 3rd as well)
- pedal feel is different now in the sense that, you have to step on the throttle pedal more before you can get the car going from a full stop. I'll need to familiarize myself with this, because it's causing me to step a bit too hard on the brakes now lol
- car hauls ass when you're on it, as iCrap would put it
Also tried on the BT feature on the FP via iPhone. Pretty sick.
I haven't viewed my datalogs yet, but from the app it reported something like 13 knocks in cylinder 3, 0 in all others, and this was probably WOT once and driving for a total of 15min. Is this bad, or expected? I'll upload the datalog when I get a chance, and the calibration.

13 is pretty normal.
I think the different pedal feel you are experiencing is just because the ECU was reset. that goes away (or maybe i got used to it?)
You should feel a lot more low end power with that cal also.. I did. Oh and did you notice if the shifts are any firmer?

I did feel a lot more low end power... car just goes compared to before. And yeah the shifts are quicker/firmer. There's less/no rev hang now.

oh yeah Joe, I can't connect to the Vault so I can't upload the calibration there. I've reported the issue to Hondata already. I'm using forum credentials (case sensitive) with no luck, even reset my pw, no luck, and also checked to make sure FP had a connection to the internet. Still no go. I'll do this once Hondata figures out the issue.

So I took a quick look at my datalog. I didn't get any knocks during WOT. However, I got like 6 knocks all within a few seconds, cruising at ~19% TPedal, ~39 MPH, ~1800 RPM, 4th gear (constant during these few seconds). I'd like to think of these as phantom knocks... but I can't really tell/say. I got 6 of them within a 3-4 second window. All on the same gear though.
I then got one more knock at 22% TPedal, ~16 MPH (and slowly rising), ~2700 RPM (and slowly rising), 1st gear. I did notice that the knock occurred a split second before the gear changes in the datalog (from 1st to 2nd), and then the RPMs begin to drop. Knock due to up-shift? Maybe it's a phantom knock of the tranny?
Then I got 3 more knocks, all within half a second or less at 21% TPedal, ~26 MPH, ~2700 RPM, 2nd gear (everything pretty constant). These knocks also occurred immediately before the datalog indicates the car up-shifted.
There are 3 more knocks later... but I'm not gonna bother explaining the scenario. I've uploaded the datalog if anyone wants to take a look
Also uploaded the calibration here. To reiterate, it's Dime Feng's Rev05.2 map (5AT), ported over for 11+. Enjoy!

Is your goal 300whp? I think you'll break that without any issues on your stage 2 setup.

The base values for >800 mg air / cyl for the 11 + TSX will be corrected in the next software update. These values are for forced induction. For those wanting to do forced induction immediately, copy and paste the values from the 09-10 maps.
V1.9.7 (21 Nov 2014)
I have verified these bug fixes. Only issue (non-issue?) outstanding is the AFM fuel table in the Fuel tab, where the values >= 1000 mg of Air are not the same as the 09-10 maps. However, Hondata did say that for an N/A application, we will very, very unlikely see such levels of air so it won't matter, and if you're boosted, said values will need to be tuned anyway.

Thank you. Want to see how many hundreds of miles per hour I took a landspeed car based on a turbo charged engine built from an 08 TSX block and head?
Not only was this speed the fastest vehicle of the year:
- It was the fastest speed at El Mirage for the past 5 years for any vehicle
- Not only that, it was the fastest Blown Gas Streamliner at El Mirage ever for any engine size. (think 500 cubic inch multi thousand HP supercharged engines)
- When it crossed the finish line it was accelerating at 5 mph per second
And we are still dialing it in. It has a lot more in it. Power is nothing without control. We use a combination of Hondata Boost control and traction control.
Yes we kick ass.

^^ Yeah thats what I was saying. It really sucks especially if you're turbo'd cause that's the only spot for wideband input as well!

Non boosted results
Hi have been trying to read all the threads about hondata. All the information is great and what a great community for working together. My question is I am not boosted and have no plans to be. This thread is very hard to understand who's results are boosted and who is not. What I want to know is with only an injen CAI what can I exspect if I go this route? I would also purchase Vits support. I am looking for more lower end torque and no rev hang. Also what happens to the gas mileage with this tune?
Thanks for the advise.

The only boosted ones are ssjoe, optimusaccord and TSX Utah.
With the injen CAI (so essentially stock) if you loaded up one of the calibrations posted here (i current have Dime Feng's cal) you would notice less rev hang, more low end torque and to me at least the car feels quite a bit faster over the stock calibration. MPG is about the same.. maybe like 1-2 better?

Thank you very much! That is exactly what I wanted to hear. Are you saying I will not benefit from Vits services being stock? I have no speed shops in my area for advice I just don't want to do anything to damage my engine.

Well if you really wanted to use Vit for a specific calibration to your car you could, but the cali that Dime Feng has posted here was done by Vit and is working great on several people's cars (including mine). If you start getting more mods the custom Vit tune will be worth it.

So... step one... make sure I can pass emissions next year, so long as that's possible, I will have to get the traction control....

Happy thanksgiving everyone.
Just curious... Anyone know generally how long it takes before vitviper contacts someone... Once they pay for his e-tune? This is without paying for any kind of rush/priority tuning.
Regards

I purchased a few days ago on the 24th and haven't receceived any correspondence yet... I included my mods in whatever form I had to fill out on his website. Now next week I'll be away
