I've been trying to take nice videos but with two kids and house work, it's been challenging to do so. I still have to do one more datalog for vit to make sure the two replacement injectors didn't mess up my tune.

Hondata just updated flashpro manager today. It now has the option to get rid of rev hang.
Just uncheck the "overrun throttle opening enable" in MISC.

Let me know how it works for you, I will probs update mine if you see a noticeable difference. I forgot to tell you that when I went all out, hard shifts WOT 2nd--> 3rd---> 4th... I notice the rev hang. I guess I never pushed it that hard b4.

Thanks! Now I feel like a noob but this is the first time I've ever messed with a cars ecu. I'm wondering if anyone knows a good place to learn to do minor changes like removing the rev hang, data logging, and other basic stuff.

Just type hondata in youtube. The CEO made some pretty good "for dummies" videos. It's useful. Check it out.

Yea I've watched the 100's of vids on how to lock it to your ecu haha only a couple show how to upload a calibration. I can't find the preloaded maps or anything like that at all. I dunno I guess I'll just sit on this 800 dollar memory card till I get it tuned by vit.

Check in with a few of the local TSX guys on the FB page. I'm sure they'll be more than willing to walk you through it .... although I'm not sure our platform has any base maps uploaded into FP Manager to begin with.

There are no base maps for a NA application for our car, you have to either get tuned by vit or someone else or make your own map which I don't recommend lol

Someone started one about their 2011 tsx rev hang. Whoever wants this option on their 09-10 should go over to the hondata forum and start a thread about it. Seems that's the only way to get things rolling over there.

Hondata added the "Overrun throttle opening" option for you 09-10 guys. Check in the "Throttle" tab. This will get rid of rev hang.
If you end up using this option, make sure you adjust the "Overrun fuel cut delay" to about 40-50 (or lower)for a smoother throttle closing. That option is in the "Fuel" tab.

Hmmmm wonder if making these adjustments would mess with any tuning that Vit is doing

This adjustment has nothing to do with the fuel/ignition maps. So no it wouldn't.
If you're in the middle of a tune with him, just ask him to make those changes. That way you don't have to keep making those changes everytime he sends you a new map.
