now come up with another fidddeeen hondos for the wheels and tires.
when I went to get my tires mounted onto the wheels, I forgot to hand them the blue work valve stems so I'm using some ugly ass OEM ones that came with a second hand set of TPMS.

What's this Work TPMS adapter that you speak of? Got a P/N? Didn't know the Work valve stems aren't a direct fit with the TSX TPMS.

I bought them from works. It's a loop you mount the tpms into. Then it connected to the valve stem.my wheel has hole in center of rim so externally I have about a 3 inch stem to make sir easy.

TPMS L Shape Adapter Set (For 2 Piece Valvestems)
oh ic. This is a multipiece wheel thing. I guess I shouldn't run into any problems using the OEM TPMS with my less ballin 1pc XD9s

These came with my wheels, but I forgot to give them to the tire shop
http://www.workwheelsonline.com/work...stem97811.html

I want them on.. but I don't feel like paying another $80 to remount the tires just to get these stems on

Strap? The wheel looks like this (note the hole for the valvestem/TPMS).

I guess the TPMS just lives behind that hole like a normal one piece wheel (like our stockies).

Where can I find them at this price? Or does anyone know any cheaper ones that will work? I bought a used one for my oem wheels and it worked fine. Listing says these are OEM but when I search the part # says its not an Acura part #.

No I definitely don't want to lose TPMS. You don't think the TPMS will interface with the blue stem? I'm actually pretty lost about that lol. They look like this:

I thought about just putting the blue cap on... but I want the whole thing to be blue

Used unfortunately but they work great. Light hasn't come on once. Plus Canadians always get shafted on shipping/etc. so at $70 CAD used it was decent.

Congrats on your purchase! Which wheels these going on? You decide on the lugs yet?

the stem thing is part of the TPMS as far as i know.
So all you can do is attach the blue cap.

buy cheap ones and use a bit of something on the threads......otherwise the 2 diff metals with GALL together. then when you go to take the cap off.....the tpms threads crumble.

i use a touch of anti seize but you can use other stuff.

that why all new caps are plastic/

I've been trying to figure this out... And it doesn't make much sense. Here's my theory anyway:

This jobber attaches to the rim inside the tire with the short threaded portion sticking out to the outside world:

Assuming the stem is two pieces and has a mating thread, you should be able to screw the blue shaft portion onto the silver jobber from above:

And then, here is where it gets ghettoAF, screw the factory TPMS sensor through the metal eye of the jobber in step 1 such that the eyelet is acting as the "Sectional cutaway of wheel" in this image:

But I know nothing and that's just guessing and making stuff up.

oh, and don't park near a middle school because the blue caps will be gone and on someone's Huffy promptly.

Not that I know about that firsthand or anything.

Your guess makes a whole lot of sense. But it seems to be too much of a hassle to get going. Plus if I get the mounting hardware for Work, it'll cost $80!

i really like the look of the colored valve stems but having the car go crazy and yell at me every 5 secs is un-barable.

Quick question, to replace the DRL with a different DRL bulb, it's just plug and play right? No need to remove the bumper or anything.
