I think Joe was being facetious, as my understanding it was named "Acura specification" or A-spec! which the older cars did get wind tunnel testing and track tuned testing on these "Aspec" parts. lowers drag coefficient and also helped lower track times via suspension


thus why the older CL and TL models are held in a higher regard amongst enthusiast. in 2009, it started to shift towards "Appearance specified" as Joe calls it

Im in electrical design, my baby was the built in wireless charger, but I worked on the entire infotainment system.
I think for a refresh it's a good look. XTC, the front will grow on you. I personally love the ASPEC look. I'm not financially ready to get one, but I'd consider a TLX in the future, and you guys should too

I was looking at one last time I was at the dealer and it was like some sort of funhouse mirror; as i got closer it seemed to grow exponentially.

Haha. You know, it's funny... I don't even think about Acura specifically anymore. It's all Honda to me. Like, I honestly forgot that the NSX was an Acura.

But really though; a vacuum in the back?

I bought a couple bags of sand at Home Depot a couple weeks ago (they​ feel like boobs) and when I got home, there was sand all over the back of the truck. So I grabbed this little vacuum we have and plugged into the inverter in the back of the truck to clean things up. I remarked how cool it was that we had 120VDC there to do that. But you know what would be cooler? Cutting out the middleman and just having a vacuum there.
