i like it as well. can't say jaw dropping, but definitely worth a test drive and sit in. When i got my 2nd gen, i was used to my dads 1st gen TSX and i didn't even include the 2nd gen in my list of possibly want. then i trust drove it and bought it lmao

 

That rear end is absolutely terrible TSX definitely has a nicer ass. Otherwise it looks ok.

I don't like this move... it's like when they implemented the e-brake as a foot pedal (where a clutch normally would be) in the 2G TL. That was a fail... this might be one as well.

 

only the 6 cylinder will have gear select.

 

I like it honestly. I'm a bit disappointed in the engine ratings (was hoping for at least 210 from the I4 and 300 from the V6), but I like the interior and styling. Price is going to be the big key, if they price it right, I think they can meet the sales goal.

 

So there isn't anything on the exterior that differentiates between the 4 banger and V6 version? Same bumpers and everything?

 

I'm pretty sure they're going to meet their sales goal. It's pretty inoffensive.

I almost pooped my panties when I saw this at the R&D facility... No one else has done this before. They had to shovel me along cause the group left me while I was trying to look at the inside haha.

And yes, there will no longer be anymore actual emergency brake handle, everyone is going e-brake now because no one cares about handbrake pulling hooners anymore :/
Also, most drivers don't even use the e-brake so a button/tiny flip switch helps to make the interior not have an extra appendage for visual sake.

Reminded me of the NSX Concept #234324324 style. I think some higher end cars have something similar. I remember Aston Martin doing it with their line many years ago but this might the first one that is actually where the shifter used to be and not higher near the dash/console.

All the NSX(s) I saw at the facility had like police tint on it haha and the one I saw they were working on had the entire interior ripped out with wires and ish everywhere.

my personal opinions of course, as I have fully working TL that will last 10+ years.
by then, I should have enough cash to buy another car used(think about the future used market), or finance a super car!

Yeah the TLX is nice. That is pretty much the word for it. If priced appropriately, they will sell. #gofast people will never buy it and Acura currently don't care.
Buttons look futuristic, but I like to be old fashioned and have a key turn starter and e-brake to pull. Only futuristic things I love in a car is camera mirrors and gps.

I agree that the TLX is nice.. 20 more hp then 320i and a few more then C250/IS250/2.5 ATS... Is nice.. not exactly mindblowing, but it's nice. the V6 has ~50 more horsepower then the 328i, and more then the 2.0 ATS/IS300 etc..

But then again the Volvo S60 has 240hp and costs $33k and that hasn't exactly been working for them..

Oh yea lol. I ordered Pizza Hut once and paid online with credit card and they never fckn delivered it. I went there and they said they would deliver it in the next 45 mins. I eventually got it after 2 hours.

 

Omg exact same shit happened to me once. They offered me a free lava cake at the end. wtf!
