So I just watched that whole video. Such a tedious process, but man does that really suck. I guess I was watching to see just how good it would look at the end. I would hate for that to be my car, even though he did the best he could, it's still pretty visible where the major scratch occurred. If I owned that car and had that cash I'd have to have it repainted, I couldn't stand to see it like that.
To be fair, the car in the vid was scratched real deep. The ones on VR1's car don't look too bad. Like his friend said, he could probably get away with a good polish (and probably wet sanding).

How do you know it was a cop? charger does not always equal cop. your best bet is to grab the plates, and take some photo's from a distance. call into your local precinct, suspicious vehicle, "NJ reg(pronounced like ledge but with an R) Bravo-5-6 Zulu-Echo-Echo-Tango, should come back to a black dodge charger, newer model" obviously change the info to fit your situation

I think we had LSD on the 6-spd manual and the steering is ultra responsive to input but not great on feedback... Oh yeah, the S4 is super stable and smooth at 145mph with plenty of ooomph left. Stage 2 tune can put it close to 193mph as someone tested it out on the Autobahn with a 6 spd-manual.
I wish i had one. so much 1 wheel peel. screeeeeeccchhh.

it could be simply and he's a car guy, really likes your car, and gets bored while on. could be that he saw your car or a similar one doing something illegal, or in the vicinity, and is scoping you out. could be that you cut him off, you didn't realize it, and now he has a vendetta. i have no idea.
other option is to find out the info for the sheriffs department, and stop by. at the front desk, ask to speak to the tour supervisor. should be a sergeant or lieutenant. make sure you have a time/date and the vehicle number thats on the side/rear. tell them the situation, and make sure they don't view you as a threat. "hey how ya doing. This is a bit unusual for me, and i thoroughly respect the department, but i've recently noticed a possible issue, and would like to speak to someone and address it."

next time, approach the vehicle front the front. keep your hands in plain view, and speak to him. tell him you've noticed him several times and if there is something you can help him with. don't be a dick, even if you're right, you wont be happy with the result. if he gets overly douchey, ask him to call a sergeant to the scene, also try to take a look at his badge and get his name off it.

Only Ford I even partially want is the GT500 and the Raptor. Don't really like any of the others.
Don't care for any Dodges. Those things are way too heavy.
Only American car I'd actually consider purschasing is the new Camaro SS with the Performance Package, but it's $41k. And you can get a STi or EVO with all the goodies for about ~41k.

For sure. But I don't know if I could spend ~30k (optioned out WRX) on a car that resembles an economy car. But I still haven't seen one in person yet.

Ok... So on Thursday on my way home from school I see a cop and slow down to 5 below. He literally comes up on my ass and tailgates me for a minute.. Like literally right behind me. I've never been tailgated so closely in my life. I could see his facial expressions and everything. I'm like ok... So I switch lanes to see if he quits. Will as soon as I switch lanes he takes a right turn and heads away. I'm like LOL ok. So fast forward to today (Friday) and I'm outside detailing my car when I see another cop (In the same Charger) sitting right outside my house.. Just sitting there (watching me??).. I'm like ok.. I've never seen a cop come into my neighborhood before, what're the chances of one sitting right outside my house? My mom is like what's this cop doing here? I'm like IDK.. So he just sits there (I think he watched me for ~20mins).. I'm a bit freaked out so I continue detailing.. An hour later I decide to go out to eat lunch, so I head off.. And ANOTHER COP (maybe the same one?????) in the exact same Charger tailgates me.. again.. I'm like.. WTF!!??! Why are you tailgating me?! I'm going 35 in a 35 but I slow it down a bit, he switches lanes and starts going crazy! Starts cutting off other traffic, not using turn signals, going way over the speedlimit w/o any sirens or anything.. I'm like WTF I don't even drive like that..
Maybe there have been some hooligans in the area that roughly fit your description (I assume you look pretty shady).
