FFFFFUUUUUUUUUU That sucks about the Audi. You got it all fixed now?

How's the former old lady treating the TSX?

More questions?

Yeah.. The current bunny is really sweet so she's a keeper. As for the Audi, it's a tank. Took a hit at over 30MPH and dudes airbags deployed but structurally and cosmetically, minor damage to the S4. 1/2 of the damages were electrical and safety related such as new seat belts control modules sensors and etc... It's all fixed now with a few minor paint issues I am working on getting addressed. The TSX was sold to a young'n here locally so he's taking good care of it

welcome back

I saw your old TSX on 66 out here in NOVA. Those F14s really draw your eyes. She was a beaut despite all the salt on her.

Is there a DIY for the license plate LED's? I know you have to take out the trunk lining/carpeting, but I want to see how exactly its done beforehand.

Yeah... That sounds right. The new owner lives out there by Fair Oaks. Is my lil "STIG" sticker still in the rear qtr window?

No you don't have to do that. pop off the plastic cover near the lights and just unscrew the screws. you'll see, it's really easy.\

EDIT:
Oh no im thinking of something else. You do have to remove the trunk liner.

Look in the LED thread.

It's pretty easy to do though. Only problem with it for me was I took longer than I thought, because I forgot the bulbs had to enter at an angle.
Also, do not break the trunk lining clips. They are easy to break.

I'm planning to remove my side molding (installed by previous owner) anything I should expect when doing this besides the double stick tape residue?

I've never driven a S4 before, but how does it compare to the TSX? I know, two completely different leagues lol.

TSX definitely feels lighter on its feet compared to the S4. However, awd with rear drive bias and torque vectoring is about as good as it gets for a daily driver. Other things like fit and finish, luxury touches, real carbon fiber trim, power/torque and smoothness are on a whole different level. The TSX is still an awesome bang for the buck car and may be looking to picking up a 2014 TSX for the GF this summer when she is ready to replace her 2007 Mini Cooper S.

Wait... We have a LSD?

"...but the limited-slip differential is there to help. The car responds well to being thrown around hard and you can carry a lot of speed through bends. One thing that some will people will have to get used to is the hyperactive steering response, which I like a lot. It's so quick to respond that it will most likely catch you off guard at first, but it sure makes placing the car where you want it quite easy."

I think we had LSD on the 6-spd manual and the steering is ultra responsive to input but not great on feedback... Oh yeah, the S4 is super stable and smooth at 145mph with plenty of ooomph left. Stage 2 tune can put it close to 193mph as someone tested it out on the Autobahn with a 6 spd-manual.

I couldn't see it. I just noticed the carbonfiber on the rear wheelwell and immediately knew it was your car.

Gave "you" the head nod and got back a WTF look.

Ok... So on Thursday on my way home from school I see a cop and slow down to 5 below. He literally comes up on my ass and tailgates me for a minute.. Like literally right behind me. I've never been tailgated so closely in my life. I could see his facial expressions and everything. I'm like ok... So I switch lanes to see if he quits. Will as soon as I switch lanes he takes a right turn and heads away. I'm like LOL ok. So fast forward to today (Friday) and I'm outside detailing my car when I see another cop (In the same Charger) sitting right outside my house.. Just sitting there (watching me??).. I'm like ok.. I've never seen a cop come into my neighborhood before, what're the chances of one sitting right outside my house? My mom is like what's this cop doing here? I'm like IDK.. So he just sits there (I think he watched me for ~20mins).. I'm a bit freaked out so I continue detailing.. An hour later I decide to go out to eat lunch, so I head off.. And ANOTHER COP (maybe the same one?????) in the exact same Charger tailgates me.. again.. I'm like.. WTF!!??! Why are you tailgating me?! I'm going 35 in a 35 but I slow it down a bit, he switches lanes and starts going crazy! Starts cutting off other traffic, not using turn signals, going way over the speedlimit w/o any sirens or anything.. I'm like WTF I don't even drive like that..

Also my car got keyed. And someone tried to jack my sport (standard SE) bumper thing. It was loose and the screw in the inner wheel well was missing.

Well, that's a weird story. Especially if he's just chilling outside your house watching you.

Sorry about your car being keyed man. How bad is it? That's one of the most annoying things. What kind of low-life scum feels it's right to mess with someone else's property. Especially when you're a person who just goes about your day and you come and find some shit like that.

I'd run a motherf***er over if I ever witness it happen.

That is odd... I don't know much about the law but if you were to ask the cop why he was outside your house, does he have to tell you the truth? I would've been a bit worried myself... and seeing as I watch too many damn television shows, I'd think he was stalking me because he thinks I'm sort of suspect.

Hope the paint wasn't terribly keyed. It can be fixed with touch up if the cuts aren't too deep. Otherwise, you'll need a new paint job on all affected panels if you care to have it fixed.

And wait... you're saying someone apparently tried to steal your entire bumper?

EDIT:
If this sorta shit happens again... or maybe even at this point, you could go about getting a dash cam or something similar that can run while your car isn't on. I'd be a bit paranoid if this sorta thing happens to me tbh...

This is what it looks like:

I was told by some that it can be polished out. Gonna see if the dealer can do it for me. I went into a shady part of town last night, probably should've known better. I should get a Dash Cam, but with my luck it'll probably get jacked.

Not sure what's up with the cop.. My mom told me to ask if he needed anything but I didn't want to.

So I just watched that whole video. Such a tedious process, but man does that really suck. I guess I was watching to see just how good it would look at the end. I would hate for that to be my car, even though he did the best he could, it's still pretty visible where the major scratch occurred. If I owned that car and had that cash I'd have to have it repainted, I couldn't stand to see it like that.

Yeah, hopefully it can be buffed out. It isn't deep enough to use touch up paint.

I hate the blue one.
I like the wheels on the white one.

I have no idea what's been done. This was a meet tonight and these cars were there.
