Supposed spec leaks of the TLX.

For the 4 cyc a least, it's only a 6 HP and 12 lb-ft torque increase? Not much of a difference.
*3.5L V6 with specs of 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft. 9-speed automatic transmission is paired with this engine. Acura says that regular shifts will occur at a rate 25% faster than the TL, and paddle shift inputs will be realized up to five times faster than the TL. Regarding fuel economy, both the FWD and AWD models will see an increase of 5 mpg highway over the TL. For city fuel economy ratings, the FWD is up 1 mpg and the AWD model is up 3 mpg over the TL. The SH-AWD system weighs 75% of the weight of the TL's system, and because it's smaller, Acura engineers were able to add an under storage space in the trunk (like the RLX). The TLX V6 is about 0.5 seconds faster than the TL in the 0-60mph race.
*2.4L inline-four cylinder with 206 horsepower and 182 lb-ft. This powertrain features an 8-speed torque converter automatic (the new ZF box?). Expect fuel economy to increase by 2 mpg in the city and by 4 mpg on the highway

Well I also care about things like build quality, interior, features which Acura is also falling behind in. Our TSXs don't have features like push button, keyless entry, blindspot monitoring, etc..
A 2014 Civic is literally better equipped in terms of tech than a 2014 TSX. Does that make any sense?

Either way, it's still a little disappointing. Not that I'm going to get an TLX or anything, but they ended the TSX and TL for a car that really isn't much different under the hood. Oh well, guess I can still keep up with the 2.4L TLX if I see one on the road.

Well the 4 banger TLX is actually more powerful then most of its competitors (320i-180hp, ATS 2.5-202hp IS250-204hp), so I wouldn't really call it "weak". The new 2.4L TLX is 1.5sec faster to 60 then our TSX anyways, so power doesn't always equate into speed.
Have any of you guys vacationed in South Beach before? Any recommendations on Hotels/Clubs/Restaurants/Strip Clubs/Fun things to do? Planning a trip for my birthday weekend (Memorial Day weekend).
Pioneer will have an aftermarket solution for Apple CarPlay

Won't be cheap though (over $500 for the cheapest CarPlay-compatible unit I believe), but if you're an Apple fan/user and you were regretting the TSX because of it's crap tech package, this may be a solution.
EDIT: I'm not sure where we'd place the unit though. I always found the screen at the top to be very sunk and it'll probably be difficult to use as a touch screen device if placed there.

As far as TLX goes.. Im disappointed as an enthusiast, kinda.. the transmission is a hugeeee difference from before, and an improvement in terms of efficiency/power of all preexisting designs! That's something Acura has never done before! That's a big undertaking to commit to. So why undertake a new engine and transmission at the same time? Probably just testing the market with the new trans so they diagnose any problems that might occur. The whole world is concerned with bio footprint left behind by large companies and automobiles(which i think is stupid, but thats another topic) so it makes sense that auto manufactures arent going for power but fuel economy. Sucks for us tho. "I JUST WANNA GO FAST!"
The Tech part.. the photos havent been released yet but I think a lot of you will be surprised at the improvements that were made on the inside! I would say wait to sit in one before you decide you don't like it.
