should i wrap this front chrome piece of the grille in black, carbon fiber, or leave it as is?

 

^Did you already paint match the outer part of the beak?

I'd say paint match the rest of it except the Acura emblem.

 

The outer part is vinyl but yea it's almost a perfect match.
I'll leave the Acura emblem the same color it is for sure.

Just not sure if i should do the beak in black or CF. kinda leaning towards just black.

 

If black matches your car color perfectly, then go for it. I think CF wouldn't look great.

I just ordered two cans of nh731 spray paint to paint match the entire grill.. My factory finish is starting to peel

 

I wish I had the better grill, the hard drive, and the SE... Pretty much 2012 SE, manual and the tech!!

 

For some stupid reason Acura doesn't offer SE and Tech packages, that's the one I wanted. I had to choose between SE and Tech so I chose SE. Having a rear backup camera would make my like so much easier though.

 

Acura does some stupid shit..

 

Can you remove the top pieces from the console without damaging them? I thought they were glued or something. Not so easy if you have to ship the whole console. Window button trim comes off easy.

 

The peices where the not an ashtray and the 12v power are come off easy, but I don't think the main piece does. Will probably have to ship the whole console, i don't think it'd be a big deal though.

 

When I was looking for a car, I came across this one. Liked what he had done to the grill so I just saved a picture of it haha. I know yours is a little different, but I still think it would look good.

I did see a TSX that for some odd reason looked to be both SE and have navigation. I should have screenshot it. But I think what happened is it was the tech package, but had all the exterior mods of the SE package. It was also brand new I think, they were asking some crazy amount for it.

Why not just vinyl wrap it in wood? Then when you get tired of it you can change it again.

 

Can't get the same "deep" gloss effect with vinyl.
