you'll be hard pressed to find replacement tips that dont require welding.

the stock tips are welded on....
they need to come off in order to fit the 4 inch tip.

 

It looked to me like the stock tips just unscrewed with the little bolt on the bottom. I'll have to have a closer look at it then.

Plastidipped the stock rim (only did one so far) with antricite grey... not sure how much i like it yet.

I don't know why the pic wouldn't show up though, it looks like others are seeing it fine.

And yeah i don't know if i want to keep it and do the rest or peel it off yet... The wheels are pretty scratched up, part of the reason why i tried the plastidip.

 

lol Those guys are so near to me that I can just pop in and pick up parts without shipping. DCH group does a lot of cool stuff for their customers too. I remember they gave out free movie passes to early movie premieres like The Avengers.
