TB is done as good as I'm doing it. I just need to hand polish the other 3 manifold pieces again to match the throttle body beter.
The cable backet is also done but not in the pic

Just finished installing everything except the headers and it got a little more power off the line but,it see's good power after 3-3500 rpms.
On the rev's it very noticable there is more power. It sounds like it has come to life.

O yea I forgot,
It fits under under the hood no problems
And looks very nice.
Only problem so far is now I'll have to buy a aftermarket intake because the clp intake is to small for the TB.
I guess thats not a problem ......

R. Parker nice job. I know headers are going on, but a cold air intake with it's smooth piping would really add to your efforts. You will have a big breathing monster.

I'll get the headers on and a new intake soon.Probally a cheap one for now just to get the TB covered up.
If I would have to guess what kind of gains I got were.
I would have to say 30 whp.And I think my car will end up feeling how it did with the 65 shot with out nitrous.
And the 100 shot sould make it quit fast for a clp

Just went for a 3rd ride and this seems crazy but it seems like it got even more power than the first 2 rides.
I really don't believe how much was gained.
I'm So happy I went threw all this BS.

It's worth it clp guys.
This has made a bigger differance Than I thought.

I have no doubt you saw some gains, but I believe you need your ass-dyno recalibrated. 30hp is a bit.....much.

Still, nice job, and that had to take alot of patience.

I did go threw some BS but very worth it.
I Say atleast 30.
When I was spraying 65 shot this feels more then half of that.I willing to say that with the headers it will probally feel just like it did with the 65shot with just the motor. Then I'll still have the 100shot.
I'll have a heathly clp

Do you port the heads also? I don't see how doing just the intake is going to get you 30 hp. Very Very unlikely.

Id guess 30 to 35 hp from doing heads, intake, and headers. Not just the intake.

No I did'nt port the heads.
I opened up a types s TB beveled the blade and matched it to the clp manifold then the horns were matched. The outlets were match to the mdx spacer and the lower runners were opened up all the way threw to gasket match the head.
Heads should be good for atleast 20 by themselfs, probally 25

No, your not gonna get that kind of power from porting.

So you saying that porting the heads is 25hp, and doing the manifold ihas yeilded you 30hp, and the headers have shown upto 20 hp. So you you are expecting 75 hp from all this. Your way high on you guesstimates.

A SC does not even offer that on the cls.

I bet without you nitrous the way you car sits right now you are not even putting 210hp to the wheels.

had a little time today so I started pulling off the factory exhaust today.
I have the 3 cat bolts and droping the rear header left.
Heres some comparison pics.I think I can even open up the inlet holes to match beter. The factorys look bigger to me.

yes, especially if they are still larger then the factory exhaust ports, but i would at least get new oem replacement gaskets, so you do not have to worry about an exhaust leak (if tightened correctly), and you only have to do it once

Once you get everything installed wipe it down with alcohol before you start it to get rid of fingerprints. You dont want the oils from your hands burning off and discoloring your work.

No way a pnp will add 30 HP by itself when the SC doesn't push that much higher to the wheels

Agree/disagree it really don't matter since its my ride and I'm super happy with the gains.
I'll say it again, this is putting out more than half the power it did on a 65shot.
So how much do you think it gained ?
Type s TB worked opened front and back and beveled blade
inlet on manifold opened
manifold opened and matched all the way threw
mdx spacer matched threw
lower runners opened and matched to the head.

headers should be done today if I get the time.

With all that, headers installed and a CAI, id say ur in the 50whp, headers alone add 20-30whp (been dyno prover, and I've made 22whp with my dc sports on my tl), intake about 7whp.

had about 30 minutes today and the headers are not going on today.
heat shield came off. the last bolts will not come off.
And I thought this exhaust job was a brezze up to this point.
cut threw one nut and a 1 1/2 - 2" cut threw the pipe to just get it out the way and the dremel finally died.
so I started hand hacking till it got dark.
I hate not having the right tools for the job.
insted of blowing the pipe and nuts off in a couple of minutes.
Looks like I'll either be buying a sawsall or hacking for a hour.
kinda sucks but,I never had a exhaust job go easy before anyway.
I haven't lost no skin yet,thats a plus.

20 to 30 hp from headers on a cls maybe. Not on a clp. Cam lift plays a big part in how much benifit yoou'll get from headers. What is the difference in lift from a cls cam and a clp cam? Besides his heads are not ported either.

Headers and a pnp intake worth 50WHP. Come on, you guys are smoking crack. Did'nt anyone tell you "Crack is Wack".

Guess there is no point arguing cause he did not get a base dyno. But what ever floats your boat.
