I'm not messing around with the sub frame.
If the spacer needs some clearance it will come from the hood.

Does the 09 IM with the MDX spacer fit under the hood without adding spacers to the hood??

i wouldnt suggest dropping the sub frame either. but if u want to use the spacer with out milling it down and be able to have ur hood shut close, ur either gonna need the 09im (no sure if that will be enough, where the measurements at cd) or drop the subframe.

Great work, looks very nice. I just painted my valve covers and intake manifold cover red, yours puts mine to shame. I started to polish the plenums, but darkness fell and I needed the car the following day. (Damn I need a garage!) I was also worried about how long it would last.

One quick question, are the plenum gaskets metal/reuseable if I were to take them off to attempt a polish?

^The plenum gaskets are metal.Reusable I don't know.
I'll find out in the next couple days.

Are the valve cover gaskets reusable ?
If they are I might do something to them since they're right there.

It should'nt be far off from closing.
If it dont fit.
I have to do something to the hood.
because my hood will close one way or another.

can you see the fuel injector rails with the spacer on. ?

Yea yea yea, I dont have my car right now, and wont have it back until sometime next week.

The metal gaskets can be reused. I prefer new ones though.

Are the valve cover gaskets metal too ?

I will measure my manifold.

Rajca you measure your type s,
and Civic you measure your 09 tl .
This way everyone will have all manifold dimensions.

no valve cover gaskets are a rubber/silicon material,

reuseable??? if you really wanted to you could, but i would absolutly not reuse them (unless they are only like a month old or something), but anyways they harden (and lose their eleasticity) up over time and take a seat to where they are positioned, and won't reseat exactly like before if you do decide to reuse them
but also if you do pull the valve covers make sure to put new seals on for the bolts and spark plug tubes too (most of the time they will come as a set with the cover's gasket)

might be better for you to just measure both, so then it is the same measurement tool and then you will follow the exact same way of measuring both, for consistently

just go to your local import parts store, mine had them in stock, and it is not their main store ethier
i got some ROC (or something like that, but you prononce it like rock)brand (i don't know there exact name, i just know the packageing is a white piece of cardboard with red lettering all over it), and have never had issues with that brand

but like you said they are still really new, but if you don't know when they were even put on, then it be better to just get new gaskets

I always got to spend money.
My spare car was bouching in the front today.I lifted it up and 2 bad tires. So 2 more tires bought this week.
Since driving the car while my cl been down I've found a leaking valve cover gasket, tranmission mount riped so it bangs when I put it in reverse and 2 bad tires.
bad news but,a first some good news.
fed ex came by 2 days early,"Thats a first".
My last bolts showed up today and tomorrow I don't have anything to do yet.
So we might be able to have some fitment and performance reveiw tomorrow.

I'm more than half way threw with the first grit on the TB now.
I'm starting at 220 so their wont be impossible straches to get out the tight conners.
This thing is going to be blinging when finished.
I'll put a pic up when I'm finished with it tonight,Also thinking I might go back into the front side of the TB again and do some more work since it dirty again anyway

Looks great. Make sure you clean the throttle body real good when your done. You dont want those metal shavings getting into the motor.
