The motor mount thread
I'm definitely going to jump in the second "batch" or whatever. I'm just interested in the consumer response. But from the product tester, it seems that they will be worth the wait.

These will be a part I will be stocking. I just offered a pre-sale to give members an extra discount for purchasing early. I've got 150 kits being made between Auto and Manual and only 25 sets have been sold. So there will be plenty to come. I just have a quick shipment being sent in for those who pre-purchased.
Hey guys,
Bit of an impromptu update today.
Unfortunately the other day my power steering belt jumped off the pulley a bit and half of it got chewed up.
I also managed to kill my power steering pump at the same time.
Power steering fluid was everywhere!

But that's not the reason why I'm posting in here. To put the new belt on, the side motor mount must be removed, and since I had it off I inspected it and took a pic of the bearing, and urethane bushing for you guys to see.

I'd say it looks really good. There is no doughing of the bushing, or anything unusual. This mount has been on the car for 2 plus months and close to 4 thousand miles. I rev through vtec, and chirp gears daily...
So I'd say to those considering this mod to rest easy they are well made. Go ahead and make that purchase. We wont be having a innovative mount fiasco like before. Also to those waiting please be patient, these things take time. Not to mention getting new parts made for our cars is not an easy task. The more of these that sell, the more likely we are to get more parts made in the future. But from the looks of it you guys will have those new mount soon.

Dude your PS pump outlet hose is dirty as fuck. Like a layer of white stuff all over it everywhere. Gotta keep it clean. Weird that it just jumped off, I couldn't tug mine off for the life of me.
where the bolts loose or bent for the pump, (or a loose belt) cause not too much on that belt to make it jump off, let alone having ridges on the edges of the pulley to keep the belt on the pulleys
i honestly cant wait. im pretty stoked we are in the home stretch. ill post water bottle vids since SSA6 doesnt feel like it.
ill also post a wheel-hop before and after video.
the real indicator will be my 1/4 times tho.

IMO sounds to me like it was delayed at the place that powder coats them......Josh I would have their ass for the delays and the weak shipping job in the first place that damaged the finish......time for a new powder coater????
101k on the clock i want to do the timing belt and all together with engine mounts... i have all the parts plus moog links bushings new slave cylinder that im gonna mod it and ss clutch line... all waiting...
any update ?
any update ?
good things come to those that wait lol.. but all this complaining is why people dont bother making us custom parts... because they dont wanna deal with all the calls and nonsense when things are out of there control
x10000 That's why patience is the key in situations like this.
The vendor obviously couldn't plan for the amount of mishaps/delays. Yea, it's frustrating to deal with especially since you guys have paid, but I'm sure XLR8 is doing everything he can. I doubt he likes this situation much either.

today

this is crazy. everything possible could happen. so the shipment u were supposed to receive got delayed or the mounts shipping to us was delayed?
I'm starting to doubt all this.

also biggest thing was with me too, keep the date promised for being delivered
morning guys.
