This is an XLR8 product.
Sorry, wish it were quicker.
And no the fabricator will not be announced. This is a private label project for XLR8 only.

LOL
Seriously, though, these mounts have been "shipped" a number of times. Unfortunately, this is the nature of the game. I don't even get mad anymore b/c no one in this industry is reliable. I will keep pressuring the fabricator.

lol it's funny. Ever since I came to this forum I've been ignoring these motor mount threads.
Then I get my car back from the dealer for a timing belt (really not that expensive. ~700 for the whole 7 year service) but of course, I get a phone call from them saying the front and passenger side motor mounts are busted. The motor mounts pretty much doubled what I thought I was going to pay at the dealer

. . . . this is sooo painful.
My apologies, I've been extremely busy with 2 cars down for major repairs and work (rebuilding one that was totaled), things going wrong left and right around the house), helping with the launch of a new company, finding a job. Anyway, I've started pinging folks again so we'll see where things stand.
Also, the Ingals Stiffy mod has really helped. I'm still needing to soften it up a bit more as the vibrations with the a/c are still too much.
As for the motor mounts, I starting to consider giving up on a performance rear mount. With the Stiffy mod harsh engine movement is really minimized and it may really eliminate the mount destruction problem . . it will at least help them last longer. Anyway, I'll hold out hope for a while longer . . . there's nothing else to do . . for now.

first of all, you are welcome

and if you need another 6-speed tester, that onlys gets like 17-18 mpg (and that is with it running good too lol), i am in to test them...
but you still get like 24 mpg though, so you are not a good tester then....
i have only done like 3-4 tanks so far, since converting, so i am working on it... (i think the first one i actually checked was in like the high 16's though)
(i did just get like 12 mpg [stupid f***ing traffic] on the wife's subie though, after i filled it up and drove home like 15 miles; the hair dryer does not help at all) and that is a motor with only 1500 miles on it too
, car has almost 16k on it

just give it 2 more years and then we will know for sure.
from the looks of it all the other xlr8 mounts that were gonna be made for acura vehicles have been made and released besides the one for our car. I would agree with phee about these being canceled or put off forever.

Right now I'm fairly happy with the Ingal Stiffy, OEM rear and Innovative front (3rd gen with black bushings) and side mounts. I think with this set up the OEM rear will hold up as the motor movement is minimal so the there's a lot less stress on all the mounts.
The only question is for those that want no vibrations . . or very very minimal
can the Stiffy be set soft enough for them and still do the job.

ing now
, while still being able to control the motor, in that it is not going to happen
