Here's an update for you guys..

My mounts are great might be the best mod i've done yet. Love the way the car drives, they have taken daily abuse for about 2 months now. They feel the same as day 1.

Hope you guys get them soon so you can join in on the fun.

^ mine too. My 3rd front mount is completely destroyed since doing the swap.

 

Did you order the XLR8 mounts, or are you waiting for the reviews?

 

No and No. I just keep ordering stock units and blowing them up.

 

My front is toast, my rear is going out. Im hoping these get shipped sometime this week.

he's serious.....he finds an odd enjoyment in changing motor mounts, kind of weird if you ask me.

I haven't received the tracking info but I've been notified my first wave of emergency mounts shipped. This first shipment should cover all the back orders. I should have these in hand within a week or so.

 

Is it too late to get in on this first batch?

Sounds like it's gonna be about 2 weeks: he said he should have them in about a week, then he has to ship them out...

 

This is crazy man. I can't put my clutch in without these mounts (multiple job discount) and IF is may 1st. That's where I plan to cash in. I was hoping to recoup the money from these mounts with these races I have been missing.

 

if you want i have stock ones and poly for sale i can give you a great deal on them brand new side and rear

I was told they will ship by the end of the week. Just be patient.

 

It's a new excuse every week. They were supposed to ship last week and be here this week.

 

I wouldn't say we have the right to complain, as he hasn't taken anyone's money yet.

I am waiting just like everyone else. I still appreciate that excelerate is getting these made for us. Not everything is up to him, he has to wait also. Just seems to me like he gets alot of flak when in reality he is helping us all out. No reason to try and give people more reasons not to make parts for our cars.

I know everyone is anxious. But this stuff takes time. This isn't something I can just whip out in 5 minutes in the back of my shop. I have to mass use a fabricator for design and for production. These parts take time and a lot of money to produce. Please be patient. We are in peak season and parts get delayed. I should have these within 2-3 days.

So am I wrong for thinking you don't keep these mounts in regular stock? Like is this a groupbuy sort of thing--you get enough orders then you have them made from the manufacturer?

 

re-read a few pages back. we made a group buy so he can get these made for us. he needed a certain amount off pll. he made one set and their holding up great. now he made a batch of them
