Well, I'd only be doing this until my 6mt swap got done. I'm going to be ordering the 6mt mounts (preemptive) but wanted to put on the front and passenger side in the mean time...

Also, has anyone tightened their ingalls ETD yet? I was toying with the idea of doing it...

I'm talking about the 27mm pre-load adjustment. I remember it saying something like it came out the box at 14mm (from top of nut to ETD body - 15mm is the max you can go without damaging it) and it's basically a soft setting and anything under that (down to the minimum of 10mm) stiffens the "stiffy".

I thought for sure by now there would have been another detailed review as promised to see how these mounts have been holding up or if there had been any noticeable issues.

Hey Guys, I'm still here. Been real busy lately, lots of OT.

Anyways no problems with the mounts at all. They are great, I'm confident those who purchased will be very happy. I have put close to 2500 miles on them and no problems. The temp has gotten warmer up here and it feels like the car is gaining more grip with the increase in tire/road temps. Highway full throttle shifts into 4th gear feels like the car just leaps forward, Its pretty cool.
I did have to chase some rattles, these things are stiffer than stock remember. But once I found the problems a simple tightening of the bolts fixed it. So I found my dash bezel, arm rest, glove box, intake, and trunk springs all loose. But that's all taken care of, so now I'm just looking to the future and trying to figure out what I want to do next. I think I might buy an extra set of tranny mounts so Josh @ XLR8 can get some fabbed up possibly. Then I will test those.

If you guys have any questions please feel free to ask, or pm. Whatever. I'm heading up to XLR8 next week probably to pick up some stuff, will check on the eta for the mounts.

4th gear CHIRPping FTW (i have gotten mine to do it with stock mounts, but the more aggresive clutch helps me on that though)

I spoke with them on the phone last week and they told me beginning of April also. I'm going to order some more parts from them so they can ship it out with the engine mounts. I would interested in trans mounts also if they decided to make them.

I wasn't going to be able to get my entire shipment for a few weeks so I had them put a rush on about 20 units, which should cover all the pre-orders we had. They are at the powder coater now. They should be shipping to me next week so I should received them anywhere between late next week and the week after.

That depends on your location in the US. You will have to use a UPS map to know how long. We are in CT.

Do you guys think there might be a fitment problem with aftermarket headers? I know that the DC headers require removal of the rear mount to install, but I don't know how the XLR8 rear mount will squeeze in.

what , you can normal pull the upper section of the header out the top of the engine bay, and not even touch the rear mount (and i have pulled the lower section/j-pipe off multiple times with out ever touching the rear mount by myself too

grinding a little bit of that bracket (which does NOT get replaced with excellerate's mounts as far as know), should make the headers fit without an issue

btw the mount should not have to be removed (or bracket), especially if you got a dremal tool, with like a "sanding drum", once the stock manifold is pulled, plug up the exhaust ports with some paper towels (just to keep every thing out possibly); sand/grind a little bit away of the bracket, to clear the new header, and you should be good
