ok i finally got my new side mount today and just installed it. everything lined up nicely and the bolts all went in without excessive force. i will test drive it tomorrow as i'm off to go see anti-flag.

Sorry for the delay; I haven't been able to frequent the threads as much; I had two family members pass away recently and it has taken up more time that I already am lacking.

It seems that the feedback is all good so we are proceeding forth with the mass shipment of all side mount orders.

The rest of the side mounts are being welded today and should be back from powdercoating by Friday. So all orders that were drop shipped from Innovative should start shipping Friday and be done by Monday. All those who had their mounts ship from me will also have their side mounts sent from me. I will post up when I receive my allotment.

See that's what pisses me off. Don't say we'll ship you 1 early to test then never send it, Just tell me up front to wait & that would be fine.
I'm done with innovative after this.

Are they only shipping side mounts or new complete kits that include all 3 new designed mounts? Cause I want all 3.

this is what i am also curious about. they sent the new side mount but no others. didn't one member (silva) receive all 3 new mounts to replace his old ones?

i also did not receive a return ship ticket so the old mount becomes a paper weight.

Yeah i seem to be the only one in here so far that got all 3 redesigned mounts. I havent recieved any return shipping label and no calls or emails for returning the mounts so maybe they just dont care since most likely they would just get tossed anyways. I will probably try to sell the old set in a few weeks if they dont get back to me and say they want them back. Its not our responsibility to hold onto the old mounts forever to wait for a shipping label. If it was that big a deal to them they would ship return labels with the new mounts.

I still strongly suggest getting ahold of them yourself..like on there chat or on the phone. That is what i did and i ended being One of the first to receive both sets of mounts (first generation and 2nd generation) So far im the only one on here to get all 3 new mounts and the only reason for that is because i got ahold of Tim myself and asked him. If i hadnt i would still be waiting on my mounts just like the rest of you

i will also try and call to see if i can find out their plans on shipping new mounts. for some reason i bet they are only sending out all 3 new mounts on a "complaint" basis.

lol im not going to sell the side to some noob lol. When i do sell things im very descriptive and if i sell all 3 as a kit the side mount issues will be clearly explained and it will be up to them if them want to try and modify to make that 1 mount fit

I wouldn't install any of the 1st gen mounts. The only people that might not care are those running mostly on the track.

As for needing to complain, my understanding from Tim is that all 3 mounts will be replaced. First the side, then the front and rear. I know some people got all 3 for testing, but as far as I understood only the side was through production. The front and rear will follow.

That said, I'm sure some of you need the side mount ASAP because you don't have anything at all. And some of us need all 3, so it doesn't matter when I get the side, I need the front and rear because that's my main problem right now.

I just hope they aren't too far behind. They shouldn't be as I was going to mod the front and rear to fix the problem and Tim told me to hold off and wait as it wasn't going to be too much longer . . .

They asked me for 3 testers, and I gave them 3 names. They sent out the first 2 that were closer and got good feedback so I guess they felt that was enough. I don't know why exactly they didn't send out your mount.

At the moment, they are only going to send out the side mounts as they feel this is enough to take care of the issue. The reason they sent one customer 3 new mounts is to get different feedback from different setups. Those who have just done the side mount alone have gotten good feedback. So they are going to proceed with that.

I don't see the harm in asking since you're the vendor for them.

This thread is upsetting. lol I need new motor mounts, and I just didn't want to buy OEM ones, but if this problem is never going to be resolved I won't have a choice. Im picky, no way in hell I could deal with these vibrations.

UPDATE:

Innovative's engineers devised a number of solutions to fix what might have been a number of issues. After all was said and done, no matter how many mounts were sent out, the feedback was the same. The side mount was the issue therefore everyone is receiving new side mounts. Everyone who has installed it has reported back that the mounts feel great and there is no longer any issue.

I will begin receiving trackings #'s by tomorrow. Do not discard your old side mounts as Innovative will be sending out return labels for them. And to the two customers who already received their mounts Innovative will also be sending you return labels.

I will be giving Innovative the entire list of ppl today so that they can beging processing all orders. It will come directly from Innovative, even for those who had their mounts shipped from me. Thanks for your patience.

There will be no fitment issues. However, you are upgrading your mounts to mounts with polyurethane inserts. There will be some in cabin vibration. It won't be a lot but there will be more than what you would have from the factory since the stock setup is rubber. Of course with the polyurethane you will also be able to launch better and have less wheel hop thus transferring the power better to the ground.

That's how mine is. Rattles like a mofo with the AC on.

Maybe you'll get the new designed 3 mount set. From my understanding from Tim no one will be getting those for a while until they get production up & running. They have only produced the side mount. The front & rear are not in production except a few test ones that were sent out.
Tim also said that anyone that wants the new mounts can call him get on a list & he will swap them out once they are ready. But they will not cover any costs for removal & install.

I have the original 3 mounts. I've since removed the side mount. The front and rear Innovative mounts are still installed. Hence that the vibration problem still exists. I've not bothered changing those out because Tim told me to hold off as they are working on a fix for this. Right now I don't have no choice but to wait.

And I fully expect that those that have the vibration problem will get new replacement mounts.

I'm not sure this will be the case. I've replaced my side mount with the old OEM mount, so in my case fitment is no longer the issue. I can also say that there was NO vibration problem when I only had the BAD Innovative side mount and front mount. The problems started AFTER installing the rear mount.

I've had several calls with Tim and he was sure that the EXTREME vibration problem is caused by the metal collar insert within the front and rear mounts. And Tim told me specifically they were sure this was the problem and therefor work on a fix for it.

So I'm very certain the new side mount will not resolve my problems. I hope I'm wrong and we'll soon find out.
