I'd be down for a 6 speed PNP version provided it is tuned for at least intake, and headers.

Sure no problem. I'm pretty busy at work as well, but we will eventually catch up.

As for payment, if Jack is welling to take payments himself, I'm all for it. I just remember that he told me when this first started that he rather get too involved directly with an entire forum members, instead having a point person that he can deal with. But if he is cool with it, no problem here. I will supply my car of course when they test out the PnP harness, not a problem at all.

BTW..

Instead of always calling Jack, I use Email. That way, I can get it in writing. I've email him today to push for $700 starting price for 20.

Since with phone calls, things easily get forgotten, or mis-understood.

Word...$700 for 20 buyers is great and $650 for 30 buyers is even better. If Jack won't accept the deposits singley I can always send u a money order instead of CC. Again...nice work guys...we need this mod.

It's my fault I forgot to say 6 speed. Hopefully I'll be able to swing it by the time it's ready. $100 deposit is not a big deal though when it gets close to go time.

Ok, I've been away from the site for a few weeks now, so please forgive me ... I didn't want to read thru 26 pages of prior posts.

Is the Unichip now available for an SC'd 5AT?

Also, what about AFTER Scalbert gets the IC unit done - and I get one - will it have to be remapped later?

No it is not and knowing how it works and after speaking with their technician it would require additional injectors to properly work with the SC. That is of late last October and I have not seen anything indicating a complete redesign.

Remember, this was my initial choice but it was squashed when I spoke with their technician about our blown application. I would have loved for this to have been the choice for a blown car; it would have saved me significant time.

Regardless of the tuning device it would need to be redone after the intercooler is installed. You can support more timing and will need to alter the fuel delivery.

It may not be that high for you with just a intake more like 5-10 until you get headers.. Let me know if you're still a maybe.

Cool, ...thanks Steve!

I did quickly look thru some of the posts last night to get caught up.

1) Congratulations to you and your wife on your cute
little "bundles of joy".

2) I see you are almost ready to get the IC together.

3) It's amazing how early you get up - this post reply was @ 3:21 AM !!! ...Damn!

Latest Email From Jack

Brian,

If you're talking with any of the TL guys, I did some research today, and the ECU's are the same as the CL, so all 3.2L CL and 3.2L TL guys can participate in the same GB.

Cheers,
Jack

BTW, I'm not sure what happened there over at A-TL...

I not able to login there now, and I can't find the original thread to the UniChip. I found another one, but some guy was trying to say it's a scam, and he was making comparsions between our cars to V8 Vetts.

It's like no duh.. that a V8 with bigger displacement car will see more gains on a set of headers compare to V6 with less displacement. God I wish I could say something to him.. but I guess I can't post there now. Oh well..

Anyway, I will keep everyone posted as to payment info.. I've yet received an email from Jack concering this topic.

Thanks!

Edit: And if we can get UniChip a 6speed to map out, we'd be at 22...!

Alright, what will it take to talk you fellas with the maybes into a IN?

Remember, it will be about a 2 month process between the down payment drop off, and the actual product delivery. Therefore, $100 bucks now.. and then $600 2 month down the road.

The only thing holding me back is this possible situation with a comptech supercharger! If the deal falls thru then I'll be in. Sorry to say guys, but I'd much rather get the charger now, and save up for this chip in the future.
