If you use an adapter that accesses the dock port of your ipod like this one, it will really improve the sound. I find it the best sound source.

[QUOTE=PittIsIt]I will be getting the water blade. I hate seeing all the beads of water on my car. The RBP shows water spots like nobody's biznass.

BTW, I've found the "Mr. Clean Auto Dry Cash Wash System" works wonderfully on stopping spoting when you wash...doesn't help when it rains, etc. However the filtered water rinse combined with the soaps sheeting additive has worked wonders on my cars. I'm no longer drying with a chamios, wash, spray with filtered water, let it air dry and voila, no spots!

Forgot...joined the group with a RBP/Ebony/6MT/Navi today...

Thanks, will check this out. Monster Cable makes it i think, and their stuff is usually very pricey, but worthwhile. I may splurge.

I have used the AutoDry and was extremely satisfied with results, but my complex doesn't have an idle hose they allow you to use. Its a pay for water system with a high pressure nozzle on it. :-(

I gotta make friends with someone with a regular spigot and hose. I can't keep spending $11 on a automatic car wash. It's just not worth it!

How do you guys think the platinum (semi mirrored, tanish colored) tint would look on our RBP? Grey and Black don't seem to be doing anything for me...

Pictures of my RBP TSX 6MT no navi

Hey guys!

I promised pics. Finally got inspired by the beautiful sunset after a hard rain here in central fla.
(Click on thumbnails for larger pic in hi res - don't worry, dial-uppers, I compressed em)

This one is a bit dark, but worth making it larger

Let me know if you want more. I love this car so much. The 6spd is so hard to describe. I can throw it all kinds of curves and it still handles like a dream. MMM

It's almost to 1300 miles (already?!)
Would love feedback! Keep in mind the car isn't clean, but loved the beady look. Still waiting for the waterblade to arrive...

i like these a lot better. the mini-plug cable that goes to the aux-in is in a much better location:

Time and priorities

It's funny how things work out. Last February we had a day or so of warm weather and I could not wait to go out and clay, polish and wax my TSX. At the time I thought that when the warm weather came around I would be hand washing my car every week and waxing it every second week or so.

Well the warm weather has come and I have not done either. I still keep it washed several times a week, but do it either with a wand wash or touchless wash. During the summer, golf becomes my mistress and I devote most of my spare time to it and my poor TSX misses out on the personal touch.

I still love it and people continue to say great things about it.

I have put on almost 20,000 kms (12,424 miles) and it has been near perfect.

It looks like a jewel

I have always said that the RBP looks best in indirect light. The other night my wife and I were coming out of an iron works store near about an hour and a half from dusk and the sky had some dark thunder clouds but also some patches of bright blue sky.

My TSX was nice and shiny and the bright blue sky surrounded by the darker clouds reflective off and blended in with the RBP. It looked fantastic. I did not have my camera with me but trust me it looked super,it looked like a jewel

Today I took my TSX in for an oil change and tire rotation. I tolded the service agent at the desk that nothing else was wrong, the TSX was perfect.

I sat down in the lounge to watch some TV waiting for the service to finish and the service agent came up to me. I was afraid that she was going to say that something was wrong. But instead she said "Your interior is amazingly clean, I have never seen a car come in here with the interior so clean". It was great to hear a compliment like that.

I love the TSX and keep telling people how great it is. It is perfect for my current lifestyle.

I will be orderiing a RBP M3 style spoiler from Delsa tomorrow. We have been exchanging emails this weekend.

Excited,
I got my RBP spoiler today from desla and it is the wrong color. It looks like arctic blue. They may be confused, or I just got the wrong thing. I've sent them a message explaining the problem, but I remember reading you were getting one, so I thought I'd give you a heads-up.

Thanks for the heads up. I tried to order it directly through them last weekend but they did not respond to my last email. (All of the other emails they were very prompt with. I tired to order directly through them because I was not comfortable with choosing the colour through ebay.

I may wait to see how yours gets settled. I wish Acura made them.

Will these help, excited? (I love that rear shot!)

Washed/clayed/waxed this past Labour Day long weekend. I only spent about 6-7 hours and only had time to do one coat of wax (by hand). This was the first time claying anything and OMFG, I almost lost myself when I felt how seriously smooth the surface was!! I'm definitely a clay convert now.
For wax, I used Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. Seriously easy to use and, well, you can see the results after just one coat and about 17 hours of drying/hazing time.

Mmmmm, Royal Blue Mirror...

Not Delsa Motorsports. I ordered what I thought was an RBP lip spoiler and got Arctic Blue. And then it was a nightmare getting my money back. Don't be tempted by Delsa. They can't deliver the goods.

I don't see any Royal Blue Pearl lip spoilers from Xenonspecialist yet. They have Alabaster Silver now, hopefully RBP will be coming soon. I'm running out of warm weather to install it.

Great shots, I plan to do a clay, polish and wax job next weekend. Although it has been a great summer, the warm days will be ending very soon. (Hey, I get my winter wheels back soon!)

I have been so busy I haven't had time to take any pictures of the minor damage from hitting the coyote, but I will try and post them soon.

My TSX has been running perfectly. I love it.

Hey Exited. I beat you to claying/waxing again! LOL. No pics but looks niiiiice! I was stupid enough to let the idiot dealership "hand wash" it a few months ago; 3 months after I clayed/waxed. I figured hand wash is better than auto wash. Looked like they used steel wool. Boy was I livid. I had them "fix" it and the brillo swirls just got finer and more brilliant. Oh yay...Every time I walked to my car I got pissed. It looked like crap. I finally was able to dedicate the time to babying my car last weekend. It's been way too hot (100+ degree streak). I'm much better now.

It's getting closer for winter tire time, but it is not time yet. Winter hits here around October 20th. When it comes, it is like someone turns a switch. I won't likely put the winter tires on until sometime in November.

LOL, Yes you beat me again. Sorry to hear about the poor job your dealer did washing your TSX. Mine actually does a half decent job. I watch them very closely when they do it though.

coyote damage

I finally had some time to take some pics of the minor damage to my TSX after I hit a coyote in the middle of the city during a dark morning a week or so ago.

The first pic is of the grill by the fog light pushed in:

The second pic shows the centre grill with some of the centre support vanes broken:

The third pic shows the front quarter panel a little out of line:

I don't think that anyone has the M3 lip spoiler in RBP unless they had a non-painted one painted in a shop. I almost did that, but could not get a spoiler sent to me that wasn't scratched.

I had hoped that Xenonspecialist would have one by now, but no such luck. I really like them and look forward to adding one.

Whoa, I started reading this thread from Post #1, but after page 10, I couldn't take it anymore, so

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but what type of Motegi wheels do you have? I know they're 17 inch, but what is their "sub-type"? (sorry, new to cars). They are beautiful.

I thought I was going to go with Black, as it is the *only* one in Canada with the parchment interior and wood trim, but Royal Blue Pearl is my favorite color, and I am having a really hard time now choosing because of the pics of your beautiful car!, haha

Thanks.

I never heard or felt the impact and did not see anything in my rear view mirror so I thought that the coyote pull off "a roadrunner" like escape.

I suspect that it is not fairing very well, which is too bad.

Motegi RT5 is the wheel model

I really like the wheel and it is not too expensive.

The Royal Blue Pearl is a terrific colour. You have to do a little extra to keep it looking clean, but there are times the blue looks fantastic.
