Yeah, mine was a little more tricky since he was working with the WW rear lip, but I told him what I wanted and he did a great job

The exhaust is a little louder than I hoped, but it's not obnoxious and not fart can sounding or raspy at all. I may swap a different muffler on it somewhere down the line, but for now I'm very happy with it

I'm glad you're happy with it! That's a funny looking smiley face LOL!

Anyway...I have bad news about my headlight. Everything is shot on that side, and for a mere $953.73, they'll fix it

I know I've seen other posts about this very subject all over the forums, so I think I could do it myself and get the parts WAY cheaper. I just don't want to screw up my car in the process since I don't have a maintenance manual. Also, the service guy kinda scared me by saying aftermarket parts could cause a lot of damage...maybe that's part of his job...UGH!

Then my dad says I should get rid of my car, to which I promptly respond, "NOOOOO! I don't want another car!" LOL

The whole thing is really depressing...

I dropped the CL at the mechanic yesterday for the almost new motor to be swapped in. (f23a1). He called this AM and said I need a motor mount and a clutch too. Not expensive with everything already out. Hopefully I get her back tomw.

I'm sure you will like them, I have been very impressed with the Morimoto kit that I put in my 4Runner, I have been debating on replacing my d2s ballasts on my acura with them as well. I really like the digital startup

She's back from the shop! With only 2500 miles on this engine, and 149k on the chassis, I'm aiming for 300k and antique license plates!! There was a busted motor mount and they went ahead and put in a new clutch while everything was out. Charged me $0. labor on those two items. Car is running so smooth. I'm interested to see if there's any change in MPGs. I got 27-28 with mostly highway driving with the old motor.

Feels good to support my local mechanic rather than my local finance company with car payments.

I'd like to roll-on some high-temp paint on the valve cover letters. Any recs on brands and what's available?

Would love to paint the exterior next year.

Hit 170k the other day. Had the car for 6 years and 4 months. Other than minor wear and tear items need to be replaced its still runs good.

I got my cl back today after sitting at the dealer for the past week. It hurt me not being able to look at it in the driveway. Got two new front axles because my cv boots were torn.

FINALLY!!! I got the damn ballasts mounted and working....It's rigged on with some "hanger tape" then one of the little red rubber seals went AWOL, but finally found it way back underneath hiding in a splash guard. It was a comedy of errors! I'm about to go buy some bulbs for all the other lights so I won't have to "deface" my car again anytime soon.

I took pictures of my car and the mount, but cannot post them as per website rules since I'm new.

I'm missing a whole lot of the snap-clips underneath...WTF?! Oh well....LOL!!

I'm confused as to why your messing with the splash guard in the first place for hid's? Either way, go buy some clips or it will fall down on the highway like mine did lol! Tire ate right through it by the time I came to a stop from 80mph!

While putting that little seal on one of the power source wires from my car, one flung off and into the engine compartment out of site...it was packing some serious potential energy I guess LOL!

Ha, that's not my bumper, that's a wings west lip, that I will be fiberglassing together. It's not made for our cars, so I had to customize it. The only reason it hasn't been done yet is because I was waiting to get the new muffler on there so I could trim the lip to fit it. I'm getting a front bumper
