The main reason I got my KBP is because, I couldn't find a white TL-S in the same price range . I actually wanted a white TL-S at first and that was the only combo I had in mind. I located a few within Canada but all were asking for a couple grand too many in my books. Finally managed to find a KBP in Calgary so I went down and drove it home. Now I'm glad I have the KBP instead of white, it's far rarer and the color has really grown on me. Plus there are too many white TLs here anyway
I have one resistor, I think. I have to find it. It's in the car somewhere

that's not all intake you got an exhaust in there too. Still pretty nice. They say that SRI robs the car of power because it sucks in hot air instead of cold one.

iChinese, it's K&N SRI, and I got XLR8 quads too. It won't be that loud without the quads.

Myron, I'm not too sure about the hot air. I read somewhere that there are no difference temperature wise between the location of CAI vs SRI. Some guy with a 3G TL measured the temp and there are no difference. I'm not too sure. haha.

Ricky your car looks fantastic with the black vinyl roof. I would most definitely do that myself if I had a white 3G. It doesn't look right on a 2G because of how the windshield sits with the roof.

Arthur I bet your car sounds beastly with the SRI. I wonder if that guy's experiment with temperatures is valid. Tough to say. I've always heard to stay away from SRIs unless they were covered by a custom heat shield type box.

It's too bad Comptech never made an Icebox intake for the 3G like they did for my 2G.

Yea, I forgot to mention about the VSA kicking in too. It happened for the first time after installing the SRI.

Heatbag, lol IMO they are all the same. They have very minimal gains, nothing crazy unless you have an exhaust, j-pipe, etc. I'm not really going to get one but then I fell in love with the SRI when Ricky hit Vtec. I bought it since I already have an exhaust.

Ryan, I really love the sound. lol. I drove today for a good half hour under the sun (24 degrees) hitting almost every stop light and I didn't notice any loss. Or I just couldn't tell the difference

Now, I'm thinking of getting a j-pipe. I already told myself I will stop buying mods after the quads. :S

Ricky, bro the vinyl looks great! Why are your stock rims back on???

TheMegalodon, I fully agree, I would have bought one by now.

Sanjay, yea, the white car will love me MOAR once I get a j-pipe. Are you going to get a new exhaust any time soon? We can split the shipping DDD I just checked the shipping fee for the RV6 V3 J-pipe and it is 50$. 500$ in total, I think I'm getting one. :S

Raj, nah, I love this car and I don't see myself selling this car at all.

Never say never, I live my car too but I have to part with it. Never know what life will throw at you. If I manage to sell this car I'm gonna get into an integra or something so I can stay in the Acura family

I need to talk to VIncent and see when he will detail my car, and then we can photoshoot and the car is going on Kijiji. I wanna see if he can buff out my door, and how it's gonna look after he's done with it. I don't wanna put up pics with scratched up door. I am hoping he can do it this weekend.

Hey Myron why would you want to downgrade to an Integra? I don't understand? What are your motivations? The only way I would consider an Integra is if it was the top trim with leather and built to the nines, turbo, etc. In that case, I would preferably go for an RSX and supercharge it. Nicer interior, newer look.

I'm actually going to be buying a set of DC sports headers of Bhupinder with the same TL as me that he's parting out. I got my intake off him and I think I'll be getting the headers too. I want that extra power.

I'll tell ya guys, helping a friend buy a turbo awd manual car is terrible. I recently helped my buddy pick up an 04 WRX with a stage 2 tune, cobb intake, turbo-back exhaust, springs and sway bar. I drove it a fair amount while showing him how to drive manual and my god there is nothing like boost. The thing is a turtle before 3300 rpm, but after that it rips. It's pushing 300hp and roughly the same for torque at about 14-15 psi. I'm so jealous of its performance even though I like how my car looks much better. I just wish I had a manual...even though the TL is fwd and isn't boosted a 6 speed would really help me use the power I have. Oh well.

@Ricky - That black roof looks awesome! Perfect touch to a WDP

@Arthur - Damn the addition of the sri sounds good. Haha I have the same air freshener as you

@Raj - Sorry I haven't messaged you yet. Unfortunately I won't be able to get to your car until next month. Me and my buddy are quite behind in our projects. This past weekend we worked on an e60 545i. Another write-up will be up near the end of this week.

@Sanjay - I can probably come by on Wednesday around 3. Sound good?

@Myron - Are you free Wednesday or Thursday evening? I'm hoping I can come over so you can help me solder that piece. The drl kit and switchbacks have been sitting in my room way too long.
Also, NOOOOO why are you getting rid of the car so soon? Those sidemarkers were just modded a few weeks ago. Are you going to do a part out and return it to stock? Those axis shines would look good on a KBP

Dude believe me I don't wanna do this but it's the smart thing to do. 3/4 of my paycheck goes to my lawyer right now and it's gonna be like that for the next 10 months, and I just don't wanna live like that haha And also the car is losing value more and more I drive it. And I also wouldn't wanna drive this car in the winter so it would just sit there for 6 months as I am driving something else anyways, and I still have to live with 1/4 of my paycheck. So selling it would settle my lawyer fees and then I can get a beater. I like integras and they are pretty cheap now. Also those engines seem to run forever and are pretty easy to work on. it'll only be untill next year, and then I am getting into a SUV. And possibly getting a bike.

I don't think I am gonna be free on wednesday or thursday I got to help my gf with some stuff. This weekend would work. And I still have to find that one resistor. I am sure it's in my car.
And no I won't do a part out yet, I am thinking that those things I did to the car won't get me much $ if I part them out, and it might be a good selling point you know. Custom lights, one of a kind type shit haha But wheels might be for sale if the buyer (if I get one) doesn't want them or wants the price to be lower without the wheels. And yes, those shines would look great on the car. I will keep you posted for sure what happens with them. There might be a bidding war between you and jbond tho, we'll just see who wants them more haha

Wow, that's sad. Funny I was thinking about the pulley when I checked your ad. Props for not hiding anthing on your ad! But anyway, what does it do? If you ever decide to part out your RSB and your mid grill, let me know!

Rsb was a bitch to take off so I don't wanna deal with it again. Those nuts and bolts rust up and I actually had to cut off the old endlinks to get it off and had to buy new ones to put progress on.

Pulley is just about 8lb lighter than stock and it frees up some hp. Your engine revs up faster basically. Search it up on here for more details. Pulley and type s key for 200$? Haha

And mid grill is just stock one sprayed with plastic dip, I still have half a can of it if you wanna paint yours. It's real simple, just masking stuff off and spraying.
