Nice, are you gonna do the roof spoiler too? Looks like you dipped some Type-S rims too.
For the next meet let's get some photos in haha, doing it at that top level parkade like we did last year or underneath that bridge in river valley would be good too.

mines a high miler.
up to 174000 now.
Still original clutch. so its time to replace anyway.
I also had check engine light on.
so i hooked a diag machine up to it.
Said i was getting random misfires. Cylinders 2,4,5,and 6
i know that the timing has never been done.
So i am assuming that is the issue.
any comments??

Hey guys,
My name's Tanu and im new to Acurazine and didn't realize there was so many of us on here! Im a youngster but still pretty keen about my car and was looking forward to meeting everyone. I drive a 2007 CGP Acura TL, some of you might've seen around with angel eyes. Live in the southside, near silverberry. Would love to be involved in a meet sometime soon!

Window Tint
Hey does anyone on here have any recommendations for window tint? Also who has tint on driver and front passenger windows? I think it looks way better but of course you can get tickets for it. So I was thinking either light tint all the way around or darker back and lighter tint on front. What are your experiences driving in edmonton with tint?

A lot of my friends went to Xtreme and got good deals there and their work is quality.
Look for Dave at The Tint Factory, great guy, gave me a good deal on wrapping my roof.
Clear Choice is where the previous owner of my car got the tint done and they did a great job. Look for Fernand if you call them, he's a good guy too.
Mine is 35% front and 20% rear. It transitions better with the rear, both the previous owner and I have never gotten pulled over for having tint on the front side windows. I usually have the driver side window/sun roof down in the summer anyways so they can see my face and as long as they can see you they can care less.
You can also always leave the sun roof cover down too so sunlight can pass through the sun roof glass so it makes the inside of your car brighter too if you get kind of paranoid.
One of my buddies recently got some tint done at Xtreme Tinting, 45% front, 35% rear with the Suntek film all for $320. He's a little paranoid about the cops pulling him over for it too so he got them at a higher %, looks great though.

So some idiot was rolling behind me at a red light and ended up rear ending me. Knocking part of the left rear panel off and made some chips on the rear A-Spec lip as well as some small dents.
I asked the dude what happened and he said he didn't know and that he was "just rolling". I then asked him if he had the car on neutral and he said no and that he was used to driving stick and just messed up. Those were the stupidest things I've heard all day, he also had his kid in the back, idiot shouldn't be driving an automatic if he's not used to it and driving his kid around.
I took pics of all his paperwork and gave him a text saying I'll let him know tomorrow on how much it is to fix everything. He hasn't responded, he better not be dodging.

Tint
Welcome!
I would suggest Xtreme Tinting, The Tint Factory, and Clear Choice Auto in that order. A lot of people here like Blackout Tinting as well.

The light turned green so I started moving up a little, then to my left this orange Ford Ranger didn't see he had a solid red light and ran it ending up t-boning me.
I had 3 witnesses that were behind me waiting to turn left as well so they can vouch for me that it was that guy's fault. Fcking idiot though, when I got out I saw the witnesses first while he was just looking at the aftermath. I went up to him and he asked if I was ok, then he asked me if it was a green light for him. If it was I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be in this mess fck face.
Getting two insurance companies on the same page is also a bitch too but we'll see what happens. Main thing though is I'm ok, my poor baby, likely going to get written off.

That's really too bad. On the bright side, from the look of things, had he hit just a foot or so forward, you would've felt it a lot more, so at least there's that. Good luck with the insurers.
You're first post (particularly about the possibility of the guy dodging you) reminds me of when I was rear ended years ago. I was pissed, but the guy was decent enough at the scene. He asked if we could do it outside of insurance, so I got some quotes for him, though I did report to my own insurer. Then the fun of trying to track him down began. Went to his house in T-town, and even though I could hear movement inside, nobody answered the door. He also wouldn't take my calls. It was a real easy decision to go back to my insurance company. My adjuster ended up telling me that the other guy was now disputing fault, though neither my insurer, nor his, were listening. In the end, my car got fixed, and he ended up paying a lot more then he needed to.

If it is I can hook you up with the ATLP, gonna get back my A-Spec emblem and can hook you up with that too if you want.
I also got my winter tires mounted on TL-S rims and 6000K headlight bulbs too that I can sell.

Is anybody selling coilovers or springs? Or know of a place to get them for a good price? Also, need to get low profile tires mounted and put onto my car... Any recommendations for a place?

I was playing corporate challenge volleyball this weekend and spotted a nice blacked out 2012+ Acura TL. Black paint, tint and wheels. Sharp looking. Is that any of you guys?

Thanks and yea if it was a second sooner I would have been done for. That guy called me back and were suppose to meet up at least until that accident happen. I'm still gonna try and get what I can from him after the dust settles but at this point I just want to get the important things done.
What division are you? We're in Green, though this year I'm only doing the Powerpull event on the 6th.
