You dog! I wa thinking the same thing, but then I thought about if it might work on me. Then I could flirt with young girls and they wouldn't think I was a dirty old man. I'd just be a dirty man.

at least you'd smell good with that Z6/Z7

i dont like Z2 though, cuz thats the sort of "cherry" smell you only get in medicine... no real cherry candy tastes like that

ok, at renner and 190, renner is heading East and West and 190 is running North and South. If you were heading south at that point on 190, (if you were going east on 190 over central and kept going) you would take the renner exit and make a left. the VERY FIRST chance to make a left, you do it. It's a little a$$ road and it looks funny, but it's a quiet place where no one could possibly bother us, except maybe some cops, i've already been through that.... but anyways........

let's set an official time to 4:00pm on Feb 10.

that sounds to be a reasonable time for "mid-afternoonish"

if anyone else has any more questions, just ask.....

So when I exit renner, do I go under the overpass?

yes, after exiting, make a left onto renner, then once you are on renner, make the VERY FIRST left possible.

The 1/4 mile Ennis track is open this Saturday. Gates open at 9:00am, time trials begin at 10:00am and last until 5:00pm. I think my roommate is taking his car down there (Saturn with full suspension, exhaust, intake) but I don't know about taking the type S. It fuckin' costs $25.00 to race, but it _is_ for 7 hours. I'd love to see what I run in the quarter, but you _KNOW_ how our trannies don't like to be beat upon.

Decisions decisions...

Take 190 east, exit renner. Make a left on renner under the overpass. After you've gone under the overpass, make the first left you see. I don't know exactly where it is, but maybe the map can help.

Does anyone know if the Apex i exhuast (World Sport Series) on the TL site is cat back or axle back? Also, it says its for the TL but under notes, it says 2dr and dual mufflers. Well, if i am correct, the TL is four doors, so does that mean its for the CL? Or, does anyone else have any suggestions for exhuast. Also, i'm debating whether to lower the car, does anyone have any opinions about it?

heading east on 190 it bends and starts to head south, and that is how renner and 190 intersect.........

just to clear up the confusion

just take 190 east, and don't worry about the cardinal directions after that. just take the renner exit; left under the underpass; and the very next left after that, DuckBlue and I will most likely be there a bit early to clear up any confusion.......

if any of you have ANY quick questions or concerns, call my cell phone 214-274-6675 and i will help you out.

Well, I was honestly on the way to Ennis today. But I called up my bud who has a 2002 mustang bullit. He said there were 370 cars down there, and it was taking about 1 hour to get in a run. The cost is $25 bucks, so I didn't think that would have been a good idea.

The folks even announecd that since there were so many people there, that they would stay open a bit longer.

Ohh well, I'll just have to wait till march.

hanzie, i did get my springs on at jotech about a year and a half ago. i think i paid about $200 for the install. i know that is rather high but i was the first CL-S in there so they were not familiar with the car and hence the higher price. great work though!

man Mantis, i think you jinxed (sp?) us when you mentioned the TX weather!

Yup, it'm me. A day late and a dollar short. :o

I went brain dead today and could have made it from 3-5, but nope. Old farts memory must be going. Shoot!

Oh well. I'll have to have someone give me a wake-up call next time.

Hope you guys had fun anyway.

it wasn't too bad, but it was REALLY freakin cold........

we'll have to do one in the summer like the last meet so that we're all comfortable, the sun is bright (ZAINO), and we can all do as G.W. says "Let's Roll!"

one interesting "no show" was a guy named Austin519 on the TL forum. obviously he's from Austin and was going to come up to our meet, but didn't get the chance to make it. His replacement alternator never showed. Jokingly i mentioned we should have a Texas Meet, which would be about as big as one of those Tri-State meets those guys have up north, but it's just a theory........

i hope to see more ppl the next round........

that and warmer weather....
