I was thinking about doing that around here. There's a black CL-S with 18" chromies that works at a credit card call center, and a red CL-S with wheels at a bank. I figured they might actually show up since they mod their cars.

I guess the headers don't add as much to the accord as they do to the CL. But with the juice you'd be pushin 220-230 right?

probly not that much, 50 shot =approx. 30-35whp, tuned properly i might see 215-220ish. i should have V-afc and pullies by then so maybe i wont be embarrased by all of you Cl-S and Tl-S.

That's still more than me, but these guys with headers should get at least 220-230. I'm saving for headers right now.

I dunno how many runs we'll be able to get in. If we have more than one run available, then you may be able to play with some stuff between runs.

Heh, so I get my Denso Iridium spark plugs in today that I bought from Speedy Ronin on the board. He said a set of six in his post, but only sent me 4.
Here is the thread:
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=82867

Here are the 4 plugs

I sent him a pm saying that if he doesn't have the other 2, then I'd need to return them.

Not much I can do with only 4 plugs. :/

*SIGH* I've been getting screwed on a lot of things lately... time to drink some beer.

Umm, The other 2 were in the package, they were packed separetly. I'm an idiot.

As far as the other stuff, its just a buncha little small stuff. It all adds up. I got my rim refinished, but they lost the valve stem. Not to mention I had to have them refinish it b/c it wasn't acceptable.

There was a small problem with my header install (very minor) I'm just venting/bitchin'.

Mantis,

I went in this morning at 6am (10/18).

They did some bone work, remove a cyst that we didn't know about, and repaired laberal, slap and rotator cuff tears.

Surgery went well, but am have some discomfort. I may be in a sling for at least a week, maybe 3.

SpringS!
my springs are on... it was a WHOLE big ordeal... Austin was great and helped me do everything... so we started at around 9:30 at night (I've got pictures) and put on 3 of the 4 springs at around 1:30. One spring left to go right? I take out the strut setup with some challenege and compress the spring (much easier on the back to compress those springs). Well we put in the hex took on the bar part of the strut and our 14mm wrench around the nut to start to remove it. AND THEN... CCRRAACCK!

we stripped the hole on the strut where the hex tool goes in. ok ok... no big dea lright? just put in a larger hex tool, put that sucker in there and hammer it in right? make your own hole... get it all goin' and then CRAAACCK!!!

FUUUUUCCCKK!!! double stripped that shit. Now we decide that we should go get some WD40 and soak it in there for aw hile... all the whlie we're deciding on when to go get the WD40 we're sitting there turning the damn stut b/c the whole thing spins when you try to turn the nut without the hex in the strut... WD40 finally gets bought at the store (all the while my car has one brake rotor and on 2 jack stands sitting in an open parking lot in my complex with an extension cord flying down from my balcony)

After multiple attempts of trying to get this damn nut off, excessive cuts on my gentle hands, and a beatdown of mine and Austin's pride in working on cars it turns about 6AM (yes 6AM) and we call it quits. I put the1 regular springed strut back in. Crash around 6:30 and the next morning take it to a shop (damnit I hated doing this) b/c tehy hasve impact wrenches that can just remove this nut in less than 30 seconds (as opposed to our 4.5 hours of attempts). for $45 they put in ONE spring for me. Tehy didn't eve have to get the seat out or put it in b/c I already removed everything for them. So I picked it up at the shop last night and drive it home. Put in the seats.

Haven't gotten to really give my car a good test drive on the roads b/c it rained but it DEFINETELY rides rougher. I don't know how ppl were saying "it rides like stock". I always knew those comments were bullshit but I still was hopeful. It doesn't ride terribly, just worst than I expected. I've got lots of pics and will have a step by step writeup for you guys soon. Gonna go back to Dallas right now (gimme a holler if you guys wanna chill and do somethin' tonight)...
