I was at Duke's last night and saw that same car -- and it *still* has the spare on it!!!

I was at Pep Boys yesterday and picked up a couple of quarts of Mobil 0w-20 and the clerk said there was a special on Mobil 1.

If you buy the Pep Boys calendar for a $1, it's buy 3 qrts and get 3 free! They were out of calendars, so I said no problem, just charge me for one and gemme the deal.

That's about $2.67 a qrt . . . a great price!

I work out of the home, but I did have to get a hair cut around 4pm. By time I was done there was ice on the windows. The streets were fine until about 7pm when they started icing over.

Thanks Danny. Since I was told not to worry about the bolt ons since I would have to replace them if I got a Turbo kit. Looks like boost is in my future.
It already has Tein's on it. I just need an exhaust that doesn't sound like a fart can, IMO I think it is hard finding a 'good' sounding exhaust for a 4 cylinder.

Oh yeah, and I recieved something special this Christmas . . . .

a freaking speeding ticket. Can you believe it?? I was driving in my TL from the ranch in Wimberley to Austin to do Christmas with my friends. Wasn't really paying attention, and accelerated a bit to quickly. I was just barely passing the only other car on the road when I heard the radar go off-instant on, nothing I could do. Cop claimed 65 in a 45, and gave me the ticket for 20 over. Asshat even had the nerve to wish me a Merry Christmas. I am still fuming over this. He caught me right at the speed limit change and had the nerve to give me lip about it. You can bet I am going to fight this one.

Edit: for those who are going to say you deserve it etc, this is for you. Yes I was speeding. Yes I had no real reason to speed. However, I was not endangering anyone on the road by speeding. I was not driving aggresively or in a manner to endanger the ONE other car on the road. I wa more than polite to the police officer. I have a clean record, this is my first speeding ticket. You would just think that on freaking Christmas day, the police officer would be nice enough to lower the fine or simply give me a warning.
