He ALWAYS hooked me up.

SW of Fort Worth halfway to Grandbury. Not a bad drive, actually. You would enjoy checking out the cars--it is pretty cool.

If I'm in town, I'm definitely gonna head down there. If anyone wants to carpool, etc let me know. I'm pretty sure my Bimmer buddy Bob will head there to watch, too. He's raced his 3 series there, I think.

Well the one good thing is I didnt have to pay. When I picked up my car I asked them "what if this happens again?". Cause this isnt the first time this has happened. They told me not to worry. So that was somewhat comforting.

been crazy busy lately.. finished undergrad, now working full time- but still taking masters classes in evening

finally got a bit of cash flow

but since i work downtown, and parking is $6 daily (no specials for employees), i've been taking the dart.. been driving the camry around, cuz i'm scared of my window getting smashed while parked at dart

so when's the next get-together?

Congrats on graduation. I, too, did the masters thing while working. No fun but worth it in the long run!

Some folks are talking about a January birthday bash.

Also, Mantis and DeeZnuts are talking about cruising down to Motorsport Ranch first weekend in February to hang out at the track during the driving weekend.

My RA-1's got here yesterday. I sure hope they fit on my rims--they look HUGE!!! They are 235/45/17's and they fit on a 7.5" rim so I should be fine but damn, they are BIG!!!

There was a guy at the track one time who hit a tire wall with a viper and it cost him $10,000 for minor damage to the front right. Turns out on the new ones (or maybe it is the old ones?), the hood and fenders are one piece. I think you can see that in one of the picks, if I am not mistaken.

Sorry about the big bill, however. That is too much for road chips.

I have never seen this car, but I know the seller (he is a tech at Subaru of Dallas--recently gave me a ride in his Stage 2 STi a few weeks ago but I knew him before he started working there). He is selling his VR-4 for the very affordable price of $4,500 (I think, anyway). Here is the link (take a look if nothing else just to see the mods!).
