I sure wish there was another performance mod I could do that wouldn't be supercharger expensive and would be noticeable... Sometimes I just itch for it.

not sure about zex, but a basic brand new NX 75 Wet shot would cost around 750 installed.

With all the fixins purge valve, cleaner switch panel, bottle heater, remote bottle opener, it might cost around 1150 installed. (average price mind you)

I've seen guys selling on acurazine the exact same stuff I bought for hundreds less.

So its really all about where you shop. The least you might pay for everything might be around 700-800

I suggest getting your license by taking a course if you have not ridden a bike before. This way you get some experience and you get the driving part out of the way while you are still familiar with the techinques. After you take the class you still have to take the written part at the DPS, but it's pretty easy.

seriously though, it would be fun to get an acura crowd going. like 10 of us. we could all get stickers from acurazine across the hood and quarterpanels and have a blast. i know i would have to bring someone with me cuz it's just not the same by myself. but i think my buddies with the 03 wrx and 01 s2000 might join in. could be great with some 2 mile radios. and all the tickets you get in those states, texas won't pursue. i just had my ticket from louisiana dismissed. it's been 7 years. yeeeay!

That;s what I was thinking-get a bunch of Acurazine folks, including the TL (hehehe, I have one ) and TSX, and kinda swarm the rally. It is only the east coast this year, so for you Easterners, it is all cake.

But seriously, you up for it Funkee?? I am going come hell or high water. It would be nice to see some of you guys come with. I am thinking that Chopper and Blades are going to come, at least I hope so, but hell, the more the merrier!!

I took the MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) class at Texas Rider. It was really fun and totally worth it. The first day is half riding half class room instruction with a multiple choice test at the end. And the second day is all riding with a riding test at the end. Everyone in my class passed, even the guy that dropped the bike once. Then I just went to the DMV, sat in line for an hour with what looked like a bunch of tourists, and took the written test. It was really easy, just have to get 14 right, and you can skip the ones you're not sure of.
