I prefer the Michelin Pilot sport, but if you already have Bridgestone on them then just get the BT010. Just make sure that the front and rear match. Congrats on the bike looks good! You won't be disappointed especially w/ that price.

And yes within the first week you already start to dig the $1500 money pit Nice, let the digging begining!

Remember to add the gloves and bike lock to that list! keep digging

what do you mean "make sure the front and rear match"? they don't wear out the same so you always end up replacing the rear first right?

already got some leather Honda gloves, guy gave them to me with the bike. But i'm thinking of picking up a pair of these for summer riding...

carbon fiber knuckles

what's a good bike lock to get?
oh and how to you lube your chain? ... heh heh... is it as simple as it sounds?

When I mean by "match" is that the tires are the same brand or at least both radial versus one non radial & radial . Go here for a good bike lock click here .
The best way to lube the change is when it is warm, right after a ride. If you have a rear stand then that will help out but if not then you will have to just keep moving the bike backward and forward. Spray the chain down with WD-40 and whip off the dirt and greese with a shop rag. After that spray on the lube. The best one to get is the "Bel Ray Chain Lube" It sprays on white but it will not fling off all over the bike when you go ride, like other lubes.

edit: Nice gloves

oh, ok cool. I think I'll be good to go cause the BT010 is actually one of 3 tires recommended in the owners manual.

lubing the chain does seem like it will be as easy as it sounds. I just didn't want to overlook something. Thanks!

It was the ride and drive for TX and surrounding area dealers. They had an E320, 530, and A6 turbo quattro. I have talked with many a salesman and they all agreed that the new RL was by far the best out of the above mentioned group-oh yeah, and they weren't just being loyal.

got my oil squirter put on yesterday. Didn't really feel any difference so i guess that's good. I got on it pretty hard up to about 60 on the way home and it pulled just as strong as ever.

I'm glad they didn't find anything wrong with my tranny and replace it. It's been shifting real smoothly after I got the fluid flushed. Maybe I'll actually keep my original tranny!

The new tranny has to adjust, and from what I read it actually shifts sooner than the orginal. Sucks, nevertheless.

My dealer inspected mine last time it was in (and then proceeded to play grease lightning, with black handprints all over my rear seats and floormats), and found that I didn't have the damage either, and I too got 'the lube kit' :P I can't tell any difference either. I hope I keeop my original also Still shifting fine @ 54k miles

before I got rid of mine, I had the Jet put in cause everything was a-ok. After the jet was put in, I couldn't feel any difference.

I took her in and they wanted 6-7 hundred bucks to fix what they think the problem might be. I told him to shove nickles up his ass. I just know that stupid oil jet kit as something to do with my problem.

If it isn't one thing, its a-MFin-nother.

I'm going to take out the N20, and take it to a different dealer.

Which one should I take it to?
Goodson Acura
Mac Churchill Acura
Vandergriff Acura

I'm thinking Goodson.

isn't Goodson the one Inferno goes to and has had nothing but good things to say? I think it is, but I forget the lady's name he said to ask for.

How come I've never heard of the dealer installing an "oil jet"? Are they just starting to do this?

Bill Westerledge at Vandergriff was a real dick to me one time I went in, and another time he was pretty helpful. I actually prefer Goodson for getting work done -- it's a much nicer service department IMO.

Aahhh... I assumed it was some notice saying "your transmission sucks and you should bring it in to be checked". My knee-jerk reaction was, "it's already been replaced -- but thanks!"

Guess I oughta bring it in then. Guess I'll do a little browse of the Tranny Section now.
