yeah, I made sure already. The guy is 25 and works for Glaxo Smith Kline. He's a pharamceutical sales rep and is about to get a company car so he's getting rid of his CLS.

Anyways so I'm picking it up for 22K!
26500 miles.
No accidents
clean Experian Autocheck and I'm about to try to get a carfax for it today.
with navigtaion whic his something I've been REALLY wanting to have.
However, this car has a spoiler. If you guys know anyonw with an Anthracite CLS that wants to swap trunk lids and get a spoiler for CHEAP ($100?) then let me know.

This car is also all OEM and has no mods. It's got a small flaw on the rear bumper which is a scratch near the left rear wheel well on the bumper that is about 1.5" long and 1/16th of an iinch in width.

It's the car I REALLY wanted to get when I got my CLS a few years back.

oh Yeah!!! it's still got acura's 4 year 50K warranty and also has a 100,000K mile acura certified drivetrain warranty from before. w00t!
so... no worries on the car for a long while.

Congrats Vinh !
Actually I think some time ago, 123456speed (in Austin) was wanting to swap trunk lids. He has 03 Anthracite 6 MT/Navi . May want to PM him, I don't know if he ever got someone to swap the lids.

so, I'm still looking for a new (or used) car guys. under 30K is what I'm looking for and the cheaper the better. AWD or RWD is a ... I what to start looking at though? I've decided it's impossible to find a 6MT CLS w/ navi that is in perfect condition.

Have you searched for a used 6MT G35C? That seems like a good choice to me.

Um...can you say Evo and STi? Or are you looking for a lux ride? Seriously, by Fridays, I can't wait to drive the STi so I can get on the boost!!! You would have so much fun, Civic. Go on, have some crack...I mean boosted awd!

You can drive it every day as long as you value boost more than cush. I'm 38 and I drive the STi everywhere except to work Monday through Thursday. If I can do this at my age, a young guy like you would be fine. Now the ladies are a different story. But if they don't like the car, they better have a Paris figure!!!

Got to try the Pirelli P-Zero Neros a bit tonight . . . they seem to bite pretty good and corner really nice . . .

Not sure if it's just that those Ziex I had sucked or what . . . but I'm not sure the T1-S were $50 a tire better . .

Mantis . . . what you got going this weekend?

I need someone to snap some picks of the Icebox mod I did. I finally got a response back from the injection molding folks and it's too much money to make the intake elbow. The lawn blower part is cheaper even though I had to buy the whole kit.

I bought everything at Lowes and the part numbers are:

Weed Eater - GH-2010
Gutter Cleaning Kit - $24.96

4" to 4" Flexible Coupling
RC100 $5.93

I still need to get the exact size of the foam bonnet, but it was about $5.00 at Pep Boys.

So for less than $35.00 you get a nice little track mod for the Icebox that I believe is worth another 10th or 2, or about 6-10HP. Pretty cheap as far as mods go . . . and it took me less than 30 mins to do the whole thing.

Once I have some pics I'll post the process and you guys can have at it if you want. I do want to see if it'll work on the CL just in case there's a difference.

If they would just make a Civic with the S2000 driveline (RWD), THAT would be the car to own. They could make a killing in the tuner market. My problem is they just don't get it for some reason.

This is why we love Ruf: he is our very own McGiver!!! Does this include a shaker hood, by the way? It wouldn't surprise me. Put together five simple .2 mods and you drop a second. Dang...

I have a noon tee time in rowlett on Saturday.

Other than that, I'm pretty free.

Maybe we can hookup around 5 on Saturday before it gets dark, or sometime Sunday.

Hit me on my cell.

My bro has a 1998 328i with aftermarket springs, sways, and T1-S's on the road, and that thing handles AMAZING. It's like a perfectly balanced go-cart. It's hard to compare that car to mine, but I'd say the T1-S's are WAY better than the Yoko ES100's and T4's I've used.

Yes, I had the T1-S' before the Ziex and they were awesome, but too high $$ for the number of times I'd really push them to the point of needing them. When I first got the T1-S' I paid $154 each, now they are almost $200.

The other good thing about the P-Zero Neros is that they are M+S rated and the T1-S' are just summer and rain tires . . . they had no bite on the snow or ice last year.

What's the pricing on the Neros? I agree 100% about the T1-S -- not worth it for me. My bro bought the car with them on there, but I guarantee he never really pushes it (I could tell by his face when I test drove it).

From Tires.com (Discount Tires Direct) they have them listed as $132 each.
