Damn, I go away for a couple of days and get so far behind!!
Anyways, work was getting stressful and I was getting lazy, so I decided to take a short trip to Key West. Had a blast. Laid out at the beach, went shopping, went fishing. It was fun and relaxing!!
While I was gone, my Acura dealer was working on getting me my new car, this bad-boy:
But, the guy flaked on me. :angry:
Looks like I am back to searching again. Keep y'all's eyes peeled for a 2002-2004 Z06 for me will ya??!!

Ok, this coming sunday, small acurazine get together at trancemission's place...look on the previous page for info.. We are meeting at noon. I am not sure if I will make it out this weekend. I think that I might be going out to Houston to look at a car, and one road trip is enough for me for one weekend.

And if I were to get a new one, just a regular C6, I would load it with options, so, that base price would be off by about $8k.

holy crap.. havent been on the forums for 2 months, and it took me 10 minutes to find our thread
well, i think its time to add me to the dead tranny list..
this morning, jerk from tranny, vsa light blink, then check engine light solid on.
sounds like the usual symptoms for tranny failure.
its sittin at dmd plano now.. says they'll check it out tomorrow morning.. got an impala loaner for now. this thing is humongous, and bouncey

^^ Ya know, the failure rate on CL's versus CL-S's is noticeably lower from reading that hella-long study a few months back. I guess it's cuz of the lower power getting transfered thru the shitty clutch plates and typically less aggressive drivers.

yeah...u need to tell people if u're having that rib eye right now so that we can plan for next sunday ethan. i know i have a soccer game again at 1:30 but i could swing by around 4 or 4:30. keep us posted. i'm finally trying to do a custom front grille. i have it all figured out in my head but i don't know how i'm gonna do it yet. it looks crazy mean without a grille period. just two big holes and the radiator peeking through. maybe i'll just leave it like that.
