Me and 3 friends split 2 cheap rooms, so nothing overly nice about it. My drunk-azz buddy staying in my room brought back a pro for a little bathroom BJ action at around 5am -- "to celebrate his winnings", he said. Needless to say, I got a new toothbrush the next day.

venetian... very nice. I think they have the biggest standard room in vegas.

a limo would have been awesome, I hated riding the bus from the damn Stratosphere to the middle of the strip.

yeah there's that 1 day a w/end law in TX.
I wanna go to vegas but I work too much and don't have time to leave. 6 days a week leaves not much time for play. Going to San Jose for a few days though.

here's something I thought you guys would llike:

saw a new Crossfire on the way to work today. I really like the front, that's what caught my eye. But the back is a little too plump for my taste, but overall it looks pretty good.

Then as I pull into downtown Ft.Worth, a nice red RX-8 is parked in a lot right by the street. I really love those, but I don't think I'd be able to deal with their torque deficiency.

ya know... the look of the Crossfire is kinda neat... but it really isn't my style... they do have awesome suspension from the Mercedes family... a few of us experienced that... hehe

I do agree that the RX-8's are freakin beautiful!

PS. I'm using a software that contains all my IE windows into one tabbed window with an auto refresh ability..... hehe. who needs email notification...

I didn't know the Crossfires were out yet either, until I saw one. We were heading in opposite directions, so it was a quick pass, but the wheels looked huge. I think it has 19"s in the back and 18"s up front.

I put an Injen on my first gen and I have been very happy with it. The only problem I had was getting the color of fittings I wanted.

red looks good on your car Bluesman since that's your color scheme. But if nothing else in the engine bay is red, I think it looks kinda funny.

Hey Chris, I was wondering if I could tap that brain of yours for some good stereo advice. Or anyone else that wants to help, I know squat about amps, and rms and everything else.

A friend of mine at work has an S2K and is trying to get his system together. This is what he has:
Alpine 9813 headunit: 35 rms 4 channels
2 Infinity 6.5 component speakers
Kenwood 749s amp: I think 500w & ~280 rms. 4, 3, or 1 channels.
And he wants to buy a Sub: JL 12 w 0 requires 125 rms.

Then he's gonna use 1 channel of the amp each for the component speakers in the door, then 2 channels for the Sub.

Will this work, or sound good? Or is there something wrong with this setup? Thanks fellas, I know he'll appreciate any advice too.

speaking of systems, I'm considering leaving out my subs for good. I had to take them out to re-run some N20 wires, and it still sounds great w/o the subs.

Hmm, wonder how much I can get for them on ebay.

You've replaced all 6 interior speakers right? Do you have an amp running those? That's probably all I would ever do to my car.

Mantis, I talked to Patrick yesterday and he said that you'r other parts had come in. Whats he doing about the parts that got screwed in the explosion. Pat said the manufactuer refused to replace anything. Why don't you suggest he call someone localy that might give him the replacment parts and then he could replace them when yours come in. It won't hurt to ask.

I talked to him yesterday also. He said he ordered a whole new kit. (I assume it came out of his pocket because he also told me the company wouldn't warranty the N20 kit). Said it should be here Today or Monday. I wonder if thats what came in today.

I dunno why we have slightly conflicting stories, but thats what he told me. What time did you talk to him? I called him around 1:00 or 2:00 if I remember correctly.

Hmm, I don't really care either way. I've gotten used to getting the run around and waiting on stuff so much that it really doesn't bother me anymore. I just hope he didn't lie about getting the new kit.

If you happen to talk to him today, kinda bring it up to see what he says. Hit me on my cell or post here about the results.
