Sorry about all this delay Mantis. I don,t understand why they wouldn,t just send you another shock. Bastards! Well the lest we can do is post on every forum we can think of not to purchase products from these guys.

On an up note I ordered OBX headers today. I hope these don,t take a year.

Well, I didn't order the coilovers from these guys, rather a retailer... I'm very happy with the product, just not the repair / warranty service.

Well boys.. sounds like a lot is going on and I hope everyone had a good 4th!

Funny thing was thursday evening chillin at the infamous Java N Cha in Plano. I'm just sittin there with a friend when all of the sudden what she has to say is absolutely pointless because an 02 CL WITH CLEARED OUT HEADLIGHTS IS PULLING THROUGH THE PARKING LOT! I practically came all over myself. Turns out he is on the boards and his handle is "Big_Soos" (gotta double check that). The name sounded familiar, but I wasn't sure. I talked to him about clearing the orange piece out and the procedure sounded incredibly familiar (clearing maxima tails). I've also read a write up that Austin519 wrote on how to do them and that sounds the same as well. If anyone is willing, I think we can do this!

PS THOSE HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL!

I love the look of the cleared headlights, but I'm just nervous about them fogging up afterwards. Seems like a lot of people experience this after they clear them.

well he said that one of them did that but the only thing I can think of that would cause that is if it's not resealed right. I am doing a write up for the Dallas Taillight Mod for the Maxima's soon and you can read those instructions on how to take them apart and put them back together. He also said that it didn't break anything (ie HIDs) with the condensation but I truely believe I can do this mod. Actually, if you want to read a write up on taking the headlights apart, here it is.

I haven't gotten them yet. and I won't know if they're any good or not until mid August unless one of you guys wants to install them for me in Austin while I'm in LA all summer =P

I've herad that so long as you prep it carefully (i.e. clean it with rubbing alchohol etc etc) then it will stick and stay forever... let it settle in a cool place (not in front of your house in the summer heat) and most likely you should do it in the evening time when it's cooler outside so it can set the sticky 3M double sided sponge tape overnight...

I got my M5 spoiler off of ebay from this guy named Sabersport ... it came on time and my roommate said it looked good. I'll get pics and whatnot when I return and actually paint/install it...

it's www.c-c-c.net , but I don't think he sells any front strut tower braces.

edit: I saw in your other post that you actually meant "neuspeed front sway". I thought you meant the fstb. But anyway, I don't think he sells that either.

what the f%$@ is wrong with a#^holes on the highway?!?!?!

So I'm driving home today in the left lane w/ people in front of me, and this nice new Silverado SS comes flying up behind me. I was like cool, someone to play with. So when I found a hole I took off and got a bit ahead, he followed. Then he found a hole and took off, and I followed, but right when I get behind him, I'm expecting him to continue driving fast, but NO he slams on his brakes!! I almost hit this stupid f*&^!! So I find another hole and take off around him. I think he had exhaust cause I could really hear it when he floored it. So he floors it to keep up, and I just keep pulling on him and get ahead. Then I stayed ahead until my exit, when I pulled into the right lane and slowed down. As he flys by he gives me the finger!!

I did nothing to this guy but race with him a little. What the hell was his problem? I wasn't the one that got in front of him and hit the brakes.... :shakehd:

Maybe he was just pissed that his big 6.0L V-8 got pulled on by a little 3.2L 6.

Actually, it's real easy to fog them up. If prior to sealing them, and moisture has gotten inside (high humidity, etc) it will stay there and accumilate on teh lens afterwards. Also, the sealeant used, if too much, can add moisture to the inside as it dries (depending on type of sealant).
