Honestly Mark I really dont give a shit about the weekly meet. If I can make it Iwill but for the most part Im usually heading to bed.
I would much rather meet up at my place or Peters. Or maybe we all meet up at a Starbucks. No offense to anyone here but being around a bunch of kids in a parking lot at Sams just doesnt do it for me. Im not really into comparing dick sizes with cars.
I say we set up a meet of our own like we used to.

No offense taken . . . most of us don't go ever week as it is. I usually go once every 3 or 4 weeks. There are some nice cars out there and a few new ones I hadn't seen before. But for the most part we hang in our own little group/area away from the dicks. Occasionally we do run in to a cool guy, so no dick measuring going on where we hang.

Nah I like to talk shit =P haha. Occasionally you get the dumbasses there but for the most part we keep to ourselves. Not much shit talking at least the people I am around. It is a younger crowd but if you find the right people they are usually mature and knowledgable. Also after I moved my car over there was 350z with some rod knock =O...Looks like we have another car to work on within the next month after the guy goes to the marines lol.

You're right, a lot of people at the meet are kids. But, I don't see where the hell they get the idea that they can claim, "Look at all these kids!" What the fuck are these people talking about, they're only 2 years older at most than the other people so they have no right to act like a badass. 2-3 years older doesn't mean you're more mature, or that you have some god given right to drive your model car over someone else.
I'm not saying anyone here is like that (though 1 person might be based on 1 of my last outings out there), but I do not care to drive all the way out there just so someone whose barely older than me can give me shit about my car.
In short, trance, you have a reason to not want to be around kids. I'm positive you've got better things to do at your age, but I don't see the sense in someone who is 20-22 whining about kids who are 18-19. They're in the same age bracket, that extra year of being older doesn't make them wiser or more mature.

But my point was that when I go, there are people there no older than 21 who complain about the presence of someone 2-3 years younger. It makes no sense because chances are, the person's just as mature/immature as the complainer.
Either way, it wasn't really pointed towards anyone in this thread.

. . . . anyway, for me it's not about how old someone is, but as you said 'how mature one is'. Any you'll always have some immature jerks at any meet of any size so I expect to see some out there and don't care that there are a few as my whole reason for going is that we have a core group of cool guys with some nice cars and we can chat about making them nicer . . . all the time knowing that some putz will be out there. Anyway, I'll be back out there from time to time just to hang with those of us that are out there.

I would rather just coordinate a meet amongst all of us. They always turn out to me alot more fun and instead of just standing around we can take some rolling shots, cook up some meat, something that actually brings us together more as a group.
