They're also the ones that do a lot of trash talk. I may not be much older, but I know not to talk shit about beating a faster car when the owner is just on the other side of the car.

Boy, what time was that? This time I ddn't leave until about 11:15pm.

Yeah, we do need to coordinate to get a few more more of us out there next time. Tranc is not that far at all, so there would be 1/2 dozen or so.

Anyway, it was a good time, NAil, vthree, sifuacura, and the rest who's names I can remember . . . dang memory going . . . and being out there with even the 'older' guys made me feel old. But none the less they were all and the guy with the badass Lexus, I mean how many guys will let you jump in their car and join them for a bit of fun.

Thanks NAil for taking care of me . . . but next time you might want to talk me out of racing the turbocharged IS . . . seriously, I don't have a problem getting wacked like that . . I get a kick out of seeing a car like that get after it. And thanks for humoring me on that ride . . I know it's rough riding in fast cars like that and then riding in a NA car like mine.

Anyway, look forward to doing it again sometime.

The plan is for 4/17, depending on the weather. You can ride down if you don't want to take yours. Anyway, will keep you posted and if I don't see you online I call you.

Well, the guys from this group was cool all the way around. But I can say I saw some . . well . . er what someone of my age would call 'punks', but hey, there's some like that everywhere you go. So I totally understand why NAil and the guys park away from that . . as much as they can.

Any car can go. It's a bunch of cars, some modded, some not. The ones that are not are looking at the ones that are. Don't worry about what you got, bring it and check it out. They are not there to critique people. It's just a bunch of people who like to hang out with other people who like cars.

It was a fun meet. Yea we decided to park away because too many people at that meet now haha so our backup parking is toward the back of the CVS haha. It works and its well lit we just shoot the shit over there. Overall it was a good time. RUF your car amazingly pulls well for what it is. I was impressed especially on an auto trans. I will try to look into the shifting issue if I can figure it out.

Yes I was I was in the black 3g on 19s. I drove by your car a few times. IT looks good. I just wanted to park with people I knew but the Clublexus guys had no room so we moved to the back. Then RUF pulled around back and I saw him and chit chatted with him there.

Later tonight I'm headin up to Addison to go to a birthday dinner with a friend then I'm gonna hit up some bars there. Anyone know the best places to go that aren't full of douchebags? I know Dukes is one of those places so that's a no and I heard that Blackfin is too, at least one of my coworkers who is in the hotchickswithdouchebags thread goes there a lot meaning it sounds douchbaggy. So far as the decent or good places I know there is a Flying Saucer and Sherlocks there, and also Londoners which I've never been to. Any recommendations?

Sounds like fun. What does this include? Beer? I don't mind bringing some. Will women be provided?

Unofortunately most of Addison has turned into the Ed Hardy, Affliction douchebaggery crowd including Sherlocks. I would just stick with Londoner and call it a day

that was a blast watching you drive my car back and hearing that exhaust. It's sounds excellent. We were all cracking up it was so different sounding.

I had one of my better drives home last night down LBJ. Hooked up with 2 different cars on the way and got the nod from them when I split off the highway. The damn car just begs people to want to race me now. Sounds bad-a$$ and pulls through the power band more.

Just ordered:

Racing Brake two piece front rotors
Racing Brake ET500 Brake pads
Techna Fit SS brake lines

This should be fun. Debating whether or not to get the Corsport pedals right now so tempting.

By the way . . . mad:

. . . damn starter went out . . . couldn't believe it . . just what I needed.

Anyway, got a good deal at O'Reilly's for a remanufactured one . . . $119.99
I guess it could be worse as one from DMD Plano was over $300, and like I'll let them work on my car again.

Dont they give you an o2 sim for that. If they didnt you would be throwing check engine lights. If you have an o2 sim that is operating right emissions should be fine.

Then you should have no issues with the third cat unless they do visual. Most of the stations I have been too dont really do visual inspections they just drive the car and plug it in the machine.

Trance, one of the guys at Jotech is seeing if his inspector is still doing non-visual inspections. I'll give you the details when he lets me know.
