Got any deals on tires?

Seriously, I'm needing some new rubber . . . can't imagine how they go so fast . . I've got a source, just trying to figure out what I want . .

Other than that . . . I may call you to find out where you have contacts, so thanks for the kind words.

Well . . . I use 225/45/17s. This'll be my 6th set, counting the OEMs.

After some research, I'm going to give the Kumho SPTs a shot. They got pretty good test results and are easy on the budget . . . which is a majpr point this time around.

Thanks for offering to help. We can always talk tires . . . an often overlooked performance part.

Are you just looking for a tire that will grip well or just an all around tire or longevity? I will check with him on prices.

Post to the thread about the drive so we don't get things mixed up. https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-clubs-meets-15/%2A%2A%2Abig-texas-2009-spring-time%2A%2A%2Amarch-28-2009-a-708804/

I've already put together a couple of spreadsheets so I could compare all the various specs and pricing. Based on where I am money wise I'm getting the Kumho SPTs, but would have liked to have tried the Bridgestone RE760s, which are a lighter tire and that's one of my top 10 comparison points.

Anyway, thanks for the offer to help. PM me with an email address if you want to see some of the charts I put together over the years.

I went to the Cannonball but not in my car. Apparently the final direction was giving wrong. It turned out to be Sushi raw lol the directions took us to a residential neighborhood. We thought they changed it last minute guess they didnt. Got there late took like 5 pics then left. We cruised a good 100 miles and got a few run ins with some other vehicles.

I will get a quote on the tires tomorrow since my friend didnt work today. I will see what he can do.

We got there a bit late. We were gonna roll out with the main crew but that did not happen. I didnt bring my car since it was 150miles and I didnt feel like stopping for gas lol because we were already 10 minutes late. At least our own cannonball was pretty fun haha.

Oh yea there is a cupcake meet coming within the week. It seems like it will be pretty big. Dunno if any acuraziners want to go. I will be there in my vehicle for sure. I will always be there with the CL crew but if any ziners go it would be nice to meet other new members. Get some variety out there.

I just ordered XLR8's j-pipe and a R-V6 Performance race pipe (3rd cat delete). I'll hopefully have it installed before the Austin trip.

Ok guys, any of you who drink, which Im sure its most of you need to check this place out.

Its PK's . Theres one in Highland Park and one in Preston Hollow.

The one in Preston Hollow is at 9221 Midway Road. Its at the intersection of Midway and NW Highway. It opened about a month or so ago. I stopped in there thinking it wouldnt be anything but just another liquor store. I was just happy it was on my way home from work. I live in a dry area.

But let me tell you, I will be going to this store for the rest of my life. I met the General Manager, his name is Justin. I would have to say he is one of the coolest cats Ive met in a very long time. Hes my age and he really knows his shit. He has a beer selection that I would bet my next check no other liquor store has. He has wine and liquors as well. I was most impressed with just how fucking cool he is. Today I mustve been there for like a half hour. Hes given me 10% off just about every time Ive bought something. He has beers Ive never heard of and believe me i know beers.

Im not one to pimp out places unless I truly believe in them. Then to top it off he drives an 06 black TL. If any of you live anywhere near this place I give you my word that you will not be let down. He still just opened the place and has already ordered stuff for me that Ive wanted. I have never met anyone in this business so personal and professional just willing to bend over backwards the way he has for me already. So the least I could do is let all of you know.

PLUS, they are going to start delivery service. I cant say enough good things about this place. What I will say is I will never buy anything anywhere else as long as Justin's store is there.

Thanks guys. Go see him and tell him you're with AcuraZine. You wont be disapointed.

I probably stop by there twice a week now. Hes working on the website right now.

He took me in the back cooler and we were just talking about beers and everything. He gave me a six pack of this beer from Tazmania and its probably the best lager Ive ever had.

imj, just tell him that I told you about it on the website. I would be shocked if he doesnt discount anything you buy.

Sweetness... I need some 3 Olives to go

I need to come visit... Tomato basil is like the 3rd word out of my mouth anymore.... I ordered the "Le" patch... So until it comes in, I just have some cotton gauze rubber banded around my ears.
