Don't know for sure, but I recall Goodson Acura in Irving has been good to some. Other than that, it's really hit or miss. What sort of maintenance are you needing?

Trance, the Lotus looks Can't wait to see it sometime. Hope to make C&C, but I may have to spend most of the weekend working with my oldest on some school projects. I tell you it is crazy the amount of projects and work they have to do . . . nothing like when I was a kid.

Haha you always talk about these school projects, and i'm in to AP (advanced placement) classes and I barely have hw. But I will have to go to Plano Senior for 2 periods all next year, cuz I took auto tech.

Ruf, Thanks for you reply, I am a customer of Goodson Acura from past 2 years.they charge more and i am not satisfied with their work, even they charge more. From past 2 years, i paid almost $3000 for different maintenance even though i have extended warranty. now the extended warranty is over and they are asking to change the timing belt and quoted around $1500. I heard there are some specialist mechanics for audi,VV,bmw etc. so i started looking for specialist mechanic for acura. but i didn't found any till now. Thanks.

Lucky, he's got a couple of AP and all the rest preAP classes (except for some media class) we've got the physics paper bridge project, US History project, PALs and SAT prework and it all has to be completed by next Friday . . then add soccer and we're overbooked.

Timing is not too bad on these by the looks of it. YOu can purchase the parts off of acuraoemparts.com or oemacuraparts.com I forgot the website its one of those. The parts should run you around 360 or so as I recall with everything needed. As for doing it takes a while.

$1500!!! that's insane. David McDavid in Plano sent me a special on the timing belt for $795. You may want to check and see if they'll offer you that deal over the phone. I still need to do mine sometime and am considering doing it myself, but am not 100% I want to . . it's a lot of work and if you don't do this sort of thing regularly I'm thinking it may take me a day or two. Anyway, good luck on finding someone in your area.

Even though that's only just over 120mph, you can still cover distances really quick . . . and you are doing it all legally.

Yessir it was fun even though I was driving a crap car. I had to make sure there were no fast cars behind me lol...There were a few porsches and modified 1 series that flew past me...The frigggin modded 1 series sounded like sex that exhaust note was crazy. That reminds me I gotta fill up the diesel also. We are down to 1/4 tank on that thing now lol...Time to bend over and get owned haha.

Hey guys, I've been thinking, and I think we should have another dinner meet. There are people like horsepower and An that I would like to see again, espicially horsepower cuz I didn't meet him at our first one and we talk a lot to each other on the forums. I was thinking about setting it on Saturday, March 20th. I'm not sure about a place yet...but I would really like to have a dinner meet. Maybe BJ's again? Lemme know what you guys think.

I can't make it that far w/o having the parents tag along If we do Uncle Julio's I can finally not have to bring a gazillion people with me. But I'll see what I can do...There is a D&B in the stonebriar mall, 121 and preston...if we wanna do D&B, then I'd rather it there...

So we have enough people for a decent meet. Anyone else would make it better. Oh and if Nelson can't make it...can we count on Rick to do a photoshoot for us? He is the only person w/ a nice camera. I am sure we can find somewhere nearby.

So can we do the Dave and Busters in the Stonebriar Mall...corner of SH-121 and Preston Rd.? Same time...7:30 P.M. We can reserve a pool table.
