does anyone here know how to photoshop I want to post a thread that I'll pay $5 for anybody to Photoshop me dual base muffler tips on a rear type s aspec preferably in NBP...I have two sets of base tips: and my idea is to cut one a little short like a couple inches and weld it to the outer side of a full tip maybe even a little staggered creating one single dual base tip...I'll just paint them black...where should I post for this black market rambling thread I just don't know where I should post but if wanted I'll pay someone like 5 bucks threw pay pal...getting rear put on with the next couple days and it's going to look stupid with just regular base tips..



lol I was just leaving room for low ballers ended up selling it to a local AZ inner for 300 minus the pressure switches and coolant..

 

Newbie here: I live in New Mexico and I'm eyeing a black 2010 TL SH-AWD 6-spd in Austin. If someone who lives nearby would like to go and take a look at it for me, I'd PayPal them $50. I am planning to purchase a Apsec kit this Thanksgiving, and have also pinged couple of vendors in Black Market.

I wanted to know if any of guys from Austin team can hep me in installing it. I am not hands on and do not have any tools. But i can definitely offer money if someone can help me.

If not then the only sources for me to go are a tire automotive shop or a dealer! They are way too expensive..

brohams, I have a cracked wheel that needs repair. Anyone know a shop that does good wheel work at a reasonable price? It's a hairline crack, no deformity and doesn't go into the barrel.

Located in the back parking lot of the BMW dealership on Mcneil. Turn on thru street between BMW and MINI then enter BMW on back left and he runs a mobile trailer where they have it set up. They do all of BMWs requests and I was pleased with my job. About $125 a wheel I recall. Good luck.

 

Thanks Taper, decided to use Straight Wheels (near Cibolo / Schertz). Dropped it off at Hub Cap Annies. Price was $125 for the fix and includes remount + hunter force road balance as well. For $150 they refinish the whole wheel. Pretty good in my book. Turnaround is a day.

I did call AWRS but they didn't answer. Snooze you lose I guess.

 

My buddies 2005 TL is for sale... Car is a 6 speed with TL-A spec suspension and he is meticulous about his cars.

Straight Wheels / Hub Cap Annies came through. Even refinished the barrel. Fix is holding up and was welded very cleanly. They put a couple mm extra and sanded it down before refinishing + balance. Tire started to lose air after I installed it back on the car but ended up being a leaky tire valve. Replaced the valve and all is good.

 

404.. must have sold it.

6sp w/ Aspec and proudly owned.. probably didn't last a day.

I should be sociable I suppose and meet up/introduce myself but I'm fairly certain my car will be on stands with me under it for the better part of this weekend. (I've got to at least figure out this caliper deal...but plan on doing springs, new CF trunk, sand/buff new paint on rear bumper, and about ten other things that I'm not remembering at the moment.)

Casual, open to all, no entry fees, show & shine. This is the "return" of this show, first one, thus not sure what to expect.

 

Good turnout, 140+ cars. Every 3rd Sunday each month for future reference. It's a mile from my place so I will be a regular.
