AcuraZine Austin Crew
I am looking to get my timing belt/water pump replaced somewhere in Austin. I've called around to dealers and independent mechanics, but so far the best I could find was $1100.
Does anyone know of a better alternative? Thx

I’m moving to Austin in 3 weeks. I signed a lease on a house off Burnett by the Burnett Middle School. So I’ll need some help finding a good mechanic to work on my RL. I also need to find a shop that can fix the leather on my arm rest. And if anyone can recommend a good self service car wash or detailer on the north side I’d appreciate it. Looking forward to eating good food and drinking good craft beer!
GTFO! You bringing your fine craft brew with you.. house party!
@cu2wagon @justnspace let's do this!
@kurtatx you still succin dicc fo cash, come over! (plus he can't consume gluten, won't be drinking fine craft)

I have some cellared stout and barrel aged sours Im packing to bring with me. And before I leave I plan on picking up cans from Hudson Valley Brewery and Other Half so I should have some to share. My friend was supposed to go get some Treehouse yesterday but bitched out. If you guys really want to meet up I'll make sure to buy extra. So far I haven't found many breweries in Austin producing quality Northeast-style IPA's except Pinthouse and good old Yellow Rose. Ive traded for Spindletap in Houston before, and I don't mind making the trip there to pick some up on occasion.
Welcome. I go here when I want to get my car washed. https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-pits-ha...-wash-austin-3

Can you get ahold of any Foolproof Brewing Co, La Ferme Urbaine? They're from RI. I didn't have time to track any down when I was out that way this summer but I'd gladly track down anything from Houston if you want to trade.
Dude.. Treehousseeeee
PHP actually makes a few different NE Hazy IPAs / Double IPAs on rotation that are effing fantastic.
Unfortunately only Jellyfish is a standard. So you just have to check with one of the brewmasters for what's in the queue.
I mentioned those eat / drink spots because they're in your neighborhood
Austin is such a foodie town.. so many fucking good places to eat. Not even Thrillist has captured them all.
In regards to beers down here.. there's too many.
Jester King is of course the most well-known, leader of the sour beer revolution.
But plenty to visit and these hipsters love beer here.
You won't see many regional microbrews from NE / PNW because they go so quick and limited batches.
But still plenty of craft brews from around the nation to enjoy and great regional craft brews here.

None of the above. I currently work for a small business and I'm moving without employment. My friend lives on W Palmer so I searched for places to live near her since I don't know many people there. I figure after I get comfortable to the area I can move wherever I want. Hopefully in a few years buy a house with my girlfriend.
