I've done that before...the next day I got an email from someone at apple with a fedex number and note saying I was being sent a whole Final Cut Studio with the Universal update.
Very nice gesture seeing how unhelpful and shitty the apple reps I had initially talked to on the phone.

Well, I'm pissed. I'm hoping that somehow, in the next day or two, they ramp up production and have the next batch of pre-orders available for pick up by 6/24. I seriously do not want to wait until July, wtf.

I just played with an HTC EVO. First impressions, nice screen, but the first thing I noticed while trying the browser was how choppy the scrolling was. My god, its so butter smooth on the iphone it spoils you!
also it felt a bit too big...

Holy shit that's huge. I cant imagine using that as a phone.

droid x is bigger than evo
but i like how droid x supports mutlitouch keyboard...
i always hated how sometimes i didn't let go of one letter before pressing another letter, iphone won't take it..
hopefully iOS4's update later maybe 4.1 or something incorporates multitouch keyboard

I walked right into the Best Buy and bought an iPad at about 1pm the day it came out 
you have to go to the places that everyone else isn't. If BB, Radio Shack and Walmart are selling the iPhone on launch then I'd probably go to radio shack or walmart. People only wait in line at walmart for black friday and game console releases
