My iphone is starting to lag quite a bit I dunno why its doing it now, it used to be perfect. Probably started a couple months ago, I cant remember what I've been downloading off of cydia, but its not much if anything at all in those months.

This happening to anyone else??
Anything I can try to fix this??
I have a 3G unlocked iphone with Tmobile.

I'll try that now, but can that really slow the iphone that much where it's very noticeable.

 

I hate how short Apple makes the sync cables. You go and use a extender, and realize it doesn't play nice with your iPhone.

Then you spend a few hours trying to sync, then restore, before your dumb ass realizes it's the fucking $3 USB extender.

All in an effort to make Sunday evenings miserable.

I get the distinct impression he wants at least $5. Which, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to pay it. Especially as it includes a PSD template to make your own. I guess I was just caught off guard with it being pulled, as I had it installed but not active for months.

 

There is a way to get it for free. I worked so hard to get it and I ended up not liking it

I've had Glasklart for quite a while now, love it. I had to go in and physically change some of the icon file names to make them work with the name I renamed them to using Rename. There are only two icons I wasn't able to fix, so I just dropped them into a folder with Categories

 

I take back what I said. I think I've had a problem with my 3GS ever since I've had it, and going back to my 2G too. The alarm goes off very inconsistently. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how many alarms I have going off, but there are times when they'll go off one after another, and other times none of them will go off. I've grown to rely on other alarms, but still... annoying how they can't get something as simple as an alarm turning on at a certain time.

I'm not alone either. If it matters I'm on 3.1.2

not totally applicable in terms of reminders but main reason I dont like the iphones alarms is because it doesnt have snooze. so today I downloaded Alarm Clock pro and its great! its the one with thousands of reviews. it only functions as an alarm clock for like, waking up.

 

but... it does have snooze. I'll give that alarm clock a try though.

 

which app are you talking about? I thought the native Calendar.

 

oh, I'm talking about the actually alarm clock when you go into the native "Clock" app

lol. i think ive only opened this Clock app once, like right when i got the phone.

 

I once used Categories until I wiped my phone and restored from a back up then couldn't get to any of my apps that were installed.

Just a warning. If you intend on wiping your phone, get rid of that app first.

but yea there is an alarm in the clock app.

you set the snooze function on when you set the alarm.
when the alarm goes off, if you tap the alert button it snoozes, if you slide to unlock it turns off the alarm.

when you look at the clock app after the alarm didnt go off are the alarms turned on or off?

well i mightve had an issue this past sunday, but i know i turned on the alarm and when i woke up it was turned off.

but imo i think its my fault because i put the phone right next to me when i sleep (i tend to just turn it off and go back to sleep when i do that)

instead of putting it on the other side of the room so i have to get up and turn it off/snooze

 

the one thing that bothers me is why the calendar app doesnt have a tasks/to do list. i mean iCal in osx has them, why not the calendar app. (not sure if this is the case on the iPad as well)

 

For non 3gs users, is there a better video recording app than cycorder?? I just dont like how you cannot take the videos off your phone unless you do a lot of work.

 

When I woke up today, the alarms were off. But I'm pretty sure I turned it on last night, and this isn't the first time this has happened.... it's happened way more times than I can count. There are times when I'll wake up late, and nobody will confirm that my iPhone alarm was going off (otherwise they'd wake me up and turn the damn thing off). But as soon as I unlock my phone, all the alarms go off right after another. I turn one off, the other one comes on. Repeat, repeat, repeat....

Other times I'll wake up before the alarms go off and the same thing happens as above.... they don't ring unless I unlock the phone. I have a passcode on mine though, so I should be at least semi-conscious to remember anything if I had to put in a pass code.

Whiskers, MS just updated Hotmail to give it exchange activesync support for email, contacts and calendar!

I'm sure no one else cares but this is huge for us and now multiple exchange account support in iPhone 4 can't come fast enough!

I thought I if I want to get the videos from cycorder off of my phone, I need to first download a program, which first of all costs money, and then do some other things. I guess its not a lot of work, but I dont wanna pay for a program to download on my computer just to take videos off of my phone.

Is there another way?
