In their defense, iOS developers did not have the A13 to work with until the advent of 13.1, firmware that is still in development.
I wonder if iOS 13.1 and later will see the A13 surge ahead of the A12.

I have not had any issues with battery life on any of my phones. (iPhone 3 to 8+)
I just got back from 2 weeks at the beach where I left the house at 7am and got back between 6-9pm, no issues (not on the phone that much but when I needed it it was fine)

Can anyone with the pro comment on the screen brightness?
i noticed that since the 7 the max brightness has been 625 nits.
With the 11 Pro and Pro Max it’s now 800 nits with 1200 nits when displaying HDR
Just wondering how much better the Pro is during bright sunlight.

i don’t notice much difference.
Did not test the 11 Max specifically in the sun, but it definitely seems brighter. No issues using it outside.
ummm.
I had been noticing this but wasn't sure, until having shot more photos with it.
Is it just me? Or is the wide angle lens..... TERRIBLE??? Images are lacking detail, and have pronounced noise. I have no idea why they would have done it this way. I HOPE this is fixable with a software update.
Here is a standard lens photo - this looks similar (probably the same - but I haven't confirmed this yet) as the XS - sharp, detailed:
Here are a couple of wide angle shots - At first I thought ok for some reason the software is pushing the ISO on these images excessively. I mean these images look like ISO 1250 or 1600 from a phone.
First one is ISO 320, second is ISO 160. Look in the shadows, it doesn't jive.

This is pretty neat.
especially for shots of buildings like the ones @srika took.

I have the beta on and so far so good.

do you have a 1st generation apple watch?
I have a series 3, this one can last me like 50 hours before needing to be charged.
I did turn off some notifications that aren't necessary (and frankly annoying) to notified on the watch.
Try rebooting it too. Weird thing happened to me a while back. My watch started running down to maybe 30-35% battery at the end of the day. For some reason I decided to reboot the watch and now it goes down to 55-60%.
I’ve read complaints about battery life on one of the newer watchOS patches. Like, doesn’t even last the entire day.
My S4 usually lasts a day and a half though. Before and after the latest OS (public release)
Did have issues with going from a XS Max to an 11 Max though. Had to set it up as a new watch.

Wife's iPhone8 is acting weird, ringer/alerts doing weird things, etc...
I plan to upgrade her to an 11, but in the meantime was hoping to do a factory reset to see if that resolved the issues.
Assuming she sets the phone back up with the same apple ID, what info/data, if any, will she really lose in the reset? I.E. what do I need to make sure I have a back up of?

If you want to be totally safe. Plug it in to your computer and make a back up with iTunes.

Surprisingly competitive price. Was hoping for more like 6 hrs of listening on one charge though.
Well, should be good enough to get most people to until lunch or until they are off, if they don’t feel like talking to/hearing their coworkers
Hopefully the bass and ANC can make the gym feel isolated. Annoyed that my gym pumps loud ass music.
