Flickr iPhone App released
Yahoo (YHOO) released the official Flickr app for the iPhone today, one of three new Yahoo apps for Apple's phone. The Flickr app allows photo and video uploads, and has many features that are available on the Flickr Web site, like browsing photos, search, geotagging and comments.
And now that there's an official Flickr app -- with good initial reviews -- the party is likely over for third-party app developers who have spent the last 18 months developing their own Flickr-focused apps. These apps are now likely to lose many of their users, and will have a hard time making new sales.

MMS already in release?
Anecdotal reports from across the U.S. indicate that AT&T has begun to roll out MMS messaging for iPhone users ahead of its announced September 25 launch date. A forum thread on Howard Forums contains reports from users as widespread as Southern California and Rhode Island saying that their MMS service suddenly started working, often times after upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1, which also includes an updated carrier file, version 5.0. At this point, it is unclear what criteria—if any—AT&T is using to select which customers will receive the service early, of it it plans to continue activating MMS for iPhone users in the days leading up to the official launch.

^^ Me neither....but how do you know MMS is working?
Click on a picture or vid and see if MMS is an option rather than just email or youtube?

ok so I'm thinking about jailbreaking my iPhone with the help of my friend. The main reason is getting the TomTom app for free! that alone is worth it. I've never jailbroken anything, not even my old iPhone pre-3G. We'll see.

I shoot people
Yeah, that's kinda what I'm trying to decide. To jailbreak or not. This guy at work's cousin or something can do... But I dunno...

I have no idea. I haven't talked to the guy for a few days, next time I see him I'll ask. All I know is he said his 3GS was jailbroken and he had the TomTom app on his phone (for free), he opened the app and showed me.... I was like

Nom Nom Nom Nom
Has anyone upgraded to 3.1 then jailbroke with the new Pwnagetool? I know MMS is going to require 3.1, but is there going to be another patch that is going to be installed like 3.1.1 or something like that, making me jailbreak it again next week?
I just dont want to have to keep jail breaking my phone, not that it really matters. I am just being lazy here.
