moving in a car can effect your latency, but not so much with bandwidth

Any good solutions out there for a clean looking dock that works with the APPLE bumper?

I actually think the bumper is quite a nice minimalistic "case" for the iPhone 4. Not bulky at all and protects the faces when set down. I also had my first drop this past weekend from about waist height onto concrete. Bumper is a bit scuffed up but the device is still immaculate.

I almost pulled the trigger on this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+D...75iP&cp=1&lp=1

But it can do streaming music and video, so no.

Someone needs to come out with an Ipad size LCD panel that the Iphone can slide into.

I'd consider the dash if/when they eventually put something in so simple as a battery

Nah, I'll get someone peeps I know to create a legit-looking Apple logo to slap onto that.

Then, you'll buy it.

Sony Dash = Garbage The fact that it has to be plugged into the wall at all times makes it pointless. It's an overpriced alarm clock on steroids. I'll pass, my 410 alarm clock does just fine

No seriously, I'd consider it, if it had a battery so I wouldn't have to be tied to the wall.

I don't mind not having the battery, to be honest. That's what I have the phone for. I might pick one up if it hits $75 or so.

It was only a matter of time.

I too thought about making this app when the iPhone 4 was first announced

Apple Approves iPhone 4 LED Flashlight Apps
Wednesday July 07, 2010 02:55 PM EST; Category: iPhone
Written by arn

Immediately after the iPhone 4 was released, Michael D'Ulisse of MoreBluSky came up with the idea to make an app that used the iPhone 4's camera flash as a Flashlight. Apparently, he wasn't alone as a number of other Flashlight apps were apparently also submitted to the App Store. Despite submitting his app the day following the iPhone 4's release, however, the app hadn't been quickly approved by Apple.

D'Ulisse contacted Apple about the delay and was told that such apps would be rejected as "inappropriate use of hardware". The developer then reached out to Apple's Phil Schiller who promised to meet with the App Review department to review their policy. D'Ulisse's arguments must have been convincing as after some consideration, Apple has approved MoreBluSky's Flashlight - For iPhone 4 app as well as the many other iPhone 4 flashlight apps in their approval queue. Each app, however, must include a disclaimer that continued use of the iPhone's LED may dramatically decrease battery life.
http://www.macrumors.com/2010/07/07/...ashlight-apps/

I will spend my dollar on it, sure beats the regular flashlight apps.

Just after the iOS4 release, there was an update on the Cydia flashlight app that utilized the LED on the iPhone 4. I thought it was useless since the dev team hadn't released the iPhone 4 jailbreak to begin with.
