SSH let's you access the file folders of your iPhone.
So you can just goto the folder where the videos are and copy them to your computer.

Is there another way?
SSH them out. Install OpenSSH thru Cydia on the iPhone and one your computer:
-WinSCP if you have Windows
-Cyberduck if you have a Mac

there has to be a YouTube tutorial on the whole process. I did it when I had my 3G.

haven't looked into it in a while, but when my wife had it...no POP/IMAP, no forwarding it to outside domains, it just seemed locked down.

I just seem to hear people getting excited for things that other free email services have, in this recent case ActiveSync.

I do like Gmail, but it's not my primary email account.

There never seemed to be a reason I needed any of that.

Anyway, I signed up before google was a word and have the address I want and people know it. I know its not going away any time soon.

Exactly I'm not jumping from email to email cause one gets a new feature first. Hotmail does POP but POP sucks. That is the one thing I hate about hotmail, when I get an email it shows up on my iPad, iPhone, os x and outlook 2010 if I view it or delete it in one device that is not reflected in any of my other devices and I have to do the same in all of my devices and the lack of a mark all as read feature in the iOS makes it even worse and I ha ve to manually view each email individually

Which apps? You can use Rename to guess the name that is probably in the Glasklart database. Or if you're familiar with SSH, you can rename both the app name and go into the database and make them match so all your icons switch to the theme.

Right now...

2 Across
MONOPOLY
Nightstand
Rise&Shine (May delete this anyway)
FlipTime
CandyWars
My Movies
MyFanTeams

Some of these, from experience, can be triggered to work via an update or deleting and reloading. I just put it on last night about an hour before I went to bed, so I didn't get into any renaming or anything like that.

I finally got the ability to SSH in, but Themes are nowhere to be found. Worse yet, the guy who did the awesome 5-icon Round Dock for Glasklart doesn't have it for download anymore.

Fuck.

by knowing the general location of most of the icons?

I have them arranged differently now and it's fairly easy to find the icon I need and open it. The first two slides are the apps I use the most, the next three pages are strictly dedicated to games, and the last one to tools. I guess I became adjusted to it.

When I switched to Tenius for a day or so I had to adjust to the new appearance, I was also annoyed and switched back to Glasklart.

It helps to not have a five-wide springboard and a little less dizzying wallpaper. I'll post my current one in a bit.

I love how I can be sitting here, not touching my phone, not letting it go into sleep, not doing anything...and it drops WiFi.

Fuck you Steve. I've been waiting for a WiFi fix since 3.0, and the iPad is going to get one after a few weeks.

More about iTunes than the iPhone, but it seems appropriate to put it here.

Credit where credit is due: I finally got around to replacing my STP Purple CD that had been damaged. The damaged audio also was in iTunes. I put in the new CD, it asked if I wanted to replace, and I said yes. Synced my phone up and voila!

I know that's something that supposed to be done for anything, but having something be as simple as that for a change was a nice surprise.

iPhone 3G's Android port is ready to download

Had enough Android excitement yet? Of course not. Following up on the Froyo release yesterday, we've got the no less vital news that the iPhone 3G port of Android is now ready to download and install. Having shown off Google's OS running on a 3G two weeks ago, author David Wang has clearly had to iron out a few kinks before serving up the necessary binaries, but here they are now, replete with a handy install guide he's penned over at PC World. Time to get yourself on the dual-booting bandwagon, no?

based on what I read about the Android port, battery life drops to an hour and performance isn't so great. But it's being worked on.

I think it's great to see.
