Apple: iPad News and Discussion Thread
The processors (quad core A6...but now this picture saying A5X) are still rumors, as is a 8MP camera on back.
But the confirmed retina display and LTE alone make me glad I waited and skipped on the 2. I will be getting a 3 for sure.

AT&T 4G just went live in my area last week and AT&T is supposed to be announcing something with shared data plans soon. My guess is that it will be for family plans only and they'll give you xGB of data to share amongst your family's phones but they'll probably still charge extra if you want to tether a device. I'd like to be charged for 2GB of data each month and it really doesn't matter how many devices use it as long as I don't go over that limit.
If it's the latter then I'd be happy but it probably won't be

$350 seems to be the going rate on 32GB models, but on eBay i see listings for WIFI only 64GB models going for approx $450-500
are you talking about the WIFI only or WIFI+3G. I think the 32GB WIFI+3G models are fetching more than 350.
I should have qualified my statements, I was referring to the WIFI only 32GB models or are my prices off on that one?

Disregard my posts, I had my searches all mixed up on ebay. Didn't realize the 64GB WIFI model was fetching closer to $600. I'm going to have to give this some thought, it may be worthwhile for me to sell mine and then get an iPad 3.

Well, I got $437 for my iPad 2 32GB Wifi. I was expecting a little bit more but whatever. Which coincidentally is the exact same amount Gazelle.com gave me for my OG iPad last year. It's my lucky number
The much-expected extra pixels in the iPad 3's display could add some more dollars to its price tag if a leaked price list is to be believed.
MacRumors points to a pricing sheet (registration required) that made its way to popular Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo, offering a rundown of prices for both the iPad 2 and iPad 3. The big takeaway: the newer models come in at $80 and $70 more per model than their predecessors.
If the list is to be believed, Apple will keep the iPad 2 around at its existing prices, while offering the iPad 3 at a beginning price of $579. That's for the Wi-Fi only models, which will keep the existing storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB at $579, $679, and $779 respectively. As for the models with "3G" (and not "4G" as rumors have suggested), those run at $699, $799, and $899 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models.

PLUS...64gb is still the high end...I honestly can't believe the 3 won't top out with at least 128GB
Plus the other rumors that the 3 will push the 2 into a cheaper/more affordable price bracket to compete against kindle.
Guess we'll know in a little more than a week.
But with the 3, I intended to probably work a little more with photography...in which case, larger would be preferred.
Because you know...I'd like to do it on an over-size iPod touch...

@ speculated prices...then again, people will pay for it...so, not a big deal.
