Apple: iPad News and Discussion Thread
well, i was just reading that story from mcgraw hill last night... i was just mentioning to someone about how awesome it would be if that exact thing happened with text books not 12 hours earlier before reading the news article leak...
For example:

but they do both slob on the Apple knob. But they also both loved windows 7, the zune HD, project natal and kinda like bing too. So I think they're both pretty fair.

CUPERTINO, CA—Claiming that he completely forgot about the much-hyped electronic device until the last minute, a frantic Steve Jobs reportedly stayed up all night Tuesday in a desperate effort to design Apple's new tablet computer. "Come on, Steve, just think—think, dammit—you're running out of time," the exhausted CEO said as he glued nine separate iPhones to the back of a plastic cafeteria tray. "Okay, yeah, this will work. This will definitely work. Just need to write 'tablet' on this little strip of masking tape here and I'm golden. Oh, come on, you piece of shit! Just stick already!" Middle-of-the-night sources reported that Jobs then began work on double-spacing his Keynote presentation and increasing the font size to make it appear longer.
From this speculation so far, I would rather have one of the smaller regular laptops / netbooks whatever. And, it would probably cost about the same spec'ed out how I want it. I don't want a bigger iphone. I have to say though, there are many times I feel the iphone is a laptop replacement. I mean, I don't have my laptop at home and use the iphone in its place with good success. It does get *kinda* annoying sometimes as far as posting on forums though, I would rather do that on a laptop / computer.

Should be interesting
@ tablet.....wake me when Steve talks about iPhone OS4

you're not in line, at least not at the apple store
