Ohh sweet the html5 version of the groove shark website finally works on my iPad. For some reason it didn't work on iOS5 for me.

if I try viewing a 1920px image on a Ipad3, what happens to it? Does it upscale the image to 2048px or keep it 100% size (black border around it)? thanks

 

no black border, i guess it scales it up.

yea i just checked, it scales it up. a 667x444 image gets scaled up. does not look good.

so just save your images as 2048-by-1536 to avoid the problem

or whatever ratio you want, just keep the big end as 2048. it will show a black bar if the ratio is wider than the iPad ratio.

 

 

Im not gonna dismiss that until I see the upscaled photos first hand...

 

well from 1920 to 2048, i dont think it would make that much of a difference. should still look nice.

that pic that stunna posted looks ok on it and that is 1280x960.

anyways yea, you should look at it in person and judge.

I'm wondering if the iPad mini is worth the wait. I'm was about to buy a Nexus 7, but decided not too just because of this.

then youre a tard...the current ipad is plenty good at what it does. I've had no slow downs, no problems running apps, etc....nothing to make want to run out and drop coin on a new one for minor tweaks.

I miss the good ol' days for when a Commodore 64 was good for 5 years.

 

I can't see any reason I'll upgrade to a minor tweaked iPad or even the iPad 4

 

The iPad 4 would have be really tricked out to get me to buy another one anytime soon.

iPads are too expensive to swap out every year.

 

It will be very tempting if the updated iPad has the guts of the iPhone5.

Also a 12 watt power adaptor for the iPad to charge faster.
