Anyone have a diagnosis? I'm taking it to a T-Mobile shop in a bit, but wanted to see if anyone experienced the same.

I got an HTC Flyer, not sure what to do with it yet.
my guess is bad digitizer.
Yeah that's why I'm inquiring. But I hear Hulu doesn't work and that affects Xfinity Fancast. Sometimes my wife watches HBO Go so I'll use Xfinity on my iPhone.
The Droid Bionic and the Galaxy S II are the phones to watch for Verizon in that timeframe. Both have excellent specs and its just a matter of which dev community will follow which (right now its towards the Galaxy S II because of the unlocked bootloader) and whether or not Motorola will unlock the Droid Bionic bootloaders for custom ROMs/kernels. Droid Bionic will have 4G/LTE for sure while the Galaxy S II is a maybe.

Can someone recommend a way for me to change my lock screen using Go Launcher EX? I can change it with Sense, and I can change it with Widget locker and ADW, but I cant run widget locker with Go launcher. The 2 just dont seem to work well together. My Evo3d bogs down to a snails pace and stutters when the 2 are both being used. Strangely, I've started to like Go Launcher and would really like to get my lock screen changed up a little. I eventually plan on rooting this, but would like to get something i like in the mean time.

Skype was updated to officially support more phones with Gingerbread:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/08...gs12-and-more/
Haven't tried it out yet since I've been using the hacked version. I'll probably just wait for the hacked version to update to it since it has more features than the real Skype.

Here's a pretty cool app for the professional photographers called DSLR Controller:

It also works with Honeycomb tablets so you have more screen space. Its $9 but the developer is the same guy who created the 3D plugin for the GPU for all Android devices so he's pretty legit. Right now it only works for Canon cameras. Hopefully, he'll get the Nikons on there as well.

Oh here's the XDA thread regarding the DSLR Controller app for more info:

DSLR controller has been tested with the following hardware:
- Samsung Galaxy S2 (KG1 firmware and newer)
- Motorola Xoom
- Canon EOS
--- 550D
--- 50D
--- 7D
--- 5D mk II
--- 1D mk IV

thats cool, sent that stuff to my dad since he has a cannon EOS, not exactly sure what model, but I just read in the xda forums that the only phone its compatible with right now is the galaxy s2, he has a mytouch4G so thats a fail
Both running the same rom btw (CM7). I just wish the NS for TMO had 4G.
Samsung Hercules (Galaxy S II?) for T-Mobile:

4.5" SAMOLED+ screen
1.2 GHz Dual-Core Exynos
"4G"
Looks like a bigger Nexus S. If I was on T-Mobile, I'd wait for this phone. I wonder if it'll have a pentaband like the international version...

No date given yet. Just the Holiday season. Whatever that means. Its most likely gonna be around December to January considering they're only starting to roll out Gingerbread to the masses just now. Ice Cream Sandwich should be the unification of Honeycomb and Gingerbread which sounds exciting and they should be releasing the sources so that means tablet development should pick up right around then.
The features will probably be announced but I doubt a device will come that early considering the gingerbread pie is still pretty small and most of the high end phones will only be running gingerbread which will take away from their sales.

Someone on XDA is working on getting ISO files of PSX games to boot natively using Sony's emulator on the Xperia Play. I'm actually surprised it took as long as it did. Here he's running Crash Bandicoot 3 from an ISO he converted to an APK:

It is legit and will probably be finished in not too long. (I'm not the dev, hexxeh is.)
Going to be awesome, apparently everything is working atm, except some HW acceleration stuff, due to chromium having some weird bugs.
Currently booting from a USB Stick via the Dual Boot android method posted by lilsteve (I think this is how he did it not 100% sure) So dual boot with Android should be very, very possible.

Well it took a little bit longer than usual but Google Videos can now be used on rooted phones:

We had a couple people asking yesterday, if the Google Videos update allowed for rooted users to stream movies yet. Answer is of course, “no”. Well, here is some good news for you. There is now a modded version which disables the root check and allows rooted users to enjoy streaming movies to their rooted devices. Sweet smell of victory. The developers over at SDX have been hard at work, so we can now watch our highly priced movie rentals on rooted phones, running Android 2.2+ and above.
Simply uninstall the current Google Videos from your phone, and re-install this one. Please note – This is not the updated apk from yesterday, but should work just fine on Froyo and Gingerbread devices, and even reported to work on all Honeycomb tablets. Expect an updated apk version sometime soon. In the meantime, enjoy some flicks this weekend.
